Küreselleşmenin tüm dünyayı etkisi altına alması, ülkeler arasında siyasal, sosyal ve ekonomik ilişkilerin akışına hız kazandırmıştır. Bu süreçte küreselleşmenin hızına hız katan medyanın önemi göz ardı edilemez. Medya organlarının topluma hizmet etmeleri nedeniyle, kamu yararını ön plana alınarak yayın anlayışı içerisinde olmaları gerekmektedir. Medya toplumun gören gözü, düşünen beyni, duyan kulağı olarak nitelendirildiğinden her zaman toplumun daha iyi bir yaşam standardına ulaşabilmesi doğrultusunda faaliyet göstermektedir. Medya denetim ve eleştiri mekanizması olarak işlev görmesinden dolayı dördüncü güç olarak değerlendirilmektedir.Küreselleşme sürecinde Türk medyasında da durum pek farklı değildir. Medya kamuoyunu temsil etmesi nedeniyle bir takım sorumlulukları da yüklemek durumundadır. Yönetim ile medyanın arasında çok boyutlu ve oldukça karmaşık ilişkinin bulunması, medya ile yönetim söyleminin medyaya yansıyış biçimi, demokratik kültürün gelişmesinde etkili olmaktadır. Yönetimlerin, toplum üzerindeki etkisini pekiştirebilmek için her olanaktan yararlanmaya çalışmaları şüphe götürmez bir gerçektir. Sermaye ve teknoloji desteğini yanına alan medya giderek güçlenen konumu ile yönetim üzerinde etkili olabilmektedir. Özellikle görsel medyanın en etkili medya aracı olduğu da açıkça görülmektedir. Sermaye ve siyaset eksenindeki küreselleşme sürecine giren Dünya, Türkiye medyasını da etkisine alarak sermaye-medya-yönetim üçgenindeki yapılanmayı şekillendirmektedir.Araştırmada, küreselleşme sürecinden medyanın ne kadar etkilendiği, Türkiye medyasında bu etkilerin nasıl yansıdığı, yönetim ile olan ilişkisi ön plana alınarak, incelenmiştir. Çalışmada, mülakat ve anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesi sonucunda medyanın tarafsız davranmadığı, gerek medya patronlarının gerekse yönetimin istekleri doğrultusunda davrandıkları tespit edilmiştir. Under the influence of globalization in the world, there is an accelerated flow of political, social and economic relations between countries. In this process, the importance of media which increases the speed of globalization can not be ignored. Due to media organizations to serve the community, they should be in the public interest with special emphasis on the concept of publication. The media defined that as seeing eyes, thinking brain and hearing ears and so that the media always has been operating in accordance with the community to reach a better standard of living. Because of the media to function as a mechanism of control and criticism are considered as the fourth power.The situation in the Turkish media is not much different from the process of globalization. Because of the media to represent the general public, has to imposed to the responsibilities of a team. Management of multi-dimensional and highly complex relationship between the presence of the media, with the media format is transferred to the media discourse of management is effective in the development of democratic culture. There is no doubt for governmental authorities that continue their impact on the society; they work to exploit every possibility. With the capital and technology supporting of the increasingly strong position of media have an impact on management.In particular, visual media is clearly seen that the most effective media tool. The world in the axis of the politics and capital into the process of globalization, taking shape within the triangle of the capital-media-management effect of media structuring.In this study, how the media influenced by globalization process, how the Turkish media affected and its relationship with management on special emphasis are investigated. Interviews and questionnaires were conducted in project. With the results of evaluation of data, the media were not neutral; media have been determined to have acted in accordance with media owners and also management's requests.
