Türk Edebiyatı’na 19. yüzyılın sonlarında giren roman ve hikâye, değişip gelişerek günümüze kadar ulaşmıştır. Roman ve hikâye, kurgusuyla insan ve toplum hayatını en ince ayrıntılarıyla karşımıza çıkaran edebî türlerdir. Kimi yazarlar, yazdıkları eserlerde, dönemin gerçeklerini kurmaca metinler hâlinde okuyucuya sunmaktadır. Toplumun geçirdiği sosyal, kültürel, siyasî ve fikrî değişimler, pek çok roman ve hikâyede örtük ve açık bir şekilde yer alır.1990’lı yıllardan sonra ülkemizde, hayat tarzı ve düşünceleri yönüyle dindar olan fakat edebiyat ve sanat kaygısını ön planda tutarak eserler oluşturma gayreti taşıyan yazarların kitapları hayat bulmaya başladı. Bu yazarlar için (özellikle kadın yazarlar için) en büyük problem, hayat tarzları veya giyimlerinin “hidayet romanı” yazarları ile benzer olmasıydı. Bu sebeple, bu dönem yazarları, hidayet romanı yazmamalarına rağmen hidayet romanı yazanlar ile aynı kategoriye alındılar. Bu dönem yazarları üniversite eğitimi almış, edebî alt yapısı olan ve edebî kaygıyı ön planda tutan yazarlardır.Yaşadığı dönemin sosyal, siyasî ve fikrî değişimlerini eserlerinde edebî kaygılarla ele alan bu tür yazarlardan biri de, Fatma Karabıyık Barbarosoğlu’dur (d.1962). Bu çalışma, Fatma Karabıyık Barbarosoğlu’nun roman ve hikâyelerini olay örgüsü, anlatıcı, bakış açısı, zaman, mekân, şahıs kadrosu, anlatım teknikleri ve tema yönüyle tahlil etmeyi amaçlamıştır. Novel and story, entered Turkish Literature at the end of the 19th century, has reached today with many changes and developments. Novel and story are the literary genres showing even the minor details of human and society life by its fiction. Some writers present the actuality of their period to the readers in fictional texts. The social, cultural, political and ideological changes experienced by the public, take part implicitly or explicitly in most stories and novels.After the 1990’s, in our country, the works of the authors who are religious in terms of their life styles and ideologies, yet trying to produce works by giving priority to the literary and artistic concern started to appear. The biggest problem for them, especially for the women authors, was the similarity of their life styles and clothing to the novelists of the true path. For this reason, although these novelists of the period did not write about true path, they were categorized like the ones writing on the true path.These novelists of the period with literary pursuits are the ones having university education and on a literary basis also giving priority to the literary and artistic concern.One of authors dealing with the social, political and ideological changes of their period is Fatma Karabıyık Barbarosoğlu (b. 1962). This study aimed to analyse her novels and stories from the perpective of narrator, point of view, time, place, characters, narrative techniques and theme.
