Siyasal karmaşanın, terör ve şiddetin yaşandığı, kutuplaşmanın arttığı 1973-1980 arası dönemde Milliyetçi Cephe (MC) oluşumu ile Türkiye’de siyasal ve toplumsal kutuplaşma had safhaya ulaşmıştır. Bu dönemde Türkiye bir sağ-sol cepheleşmesi sarmalına düşerek, güncel sorunlarını bile çözmekten uzak kalmıştır. Sağ partilerin aralarındaki küçük farklılıkları bir yana bırakarak, vatanseverliğin de bir gereği olarak MC’nin oluşumundaki esas unsur bir olan komünizm tehlikesine karşı AP etrafında birleştiler. Yeni hükümet AP lideri Süleyman Demirel tarafından Türk siyasi tarihine I. Milliyetçi Cephe Hükümeti (31.03.1975-21.06.1977) olarak geçen AP, MSP, CGP ve MHP'li bakanlardan oluşan koalisyon hükümeti kurulmuştur.1977 seçimleri de Türkiye’nin ihtiyacı olan güçlü iktidarı çıkaramamış ve beklenen CHP-AP koalisyonu gerçekleşmeyince yerine II. Milliyetçi Cephe Hükümeti (21.06.1977-05.01.1978) kurulmuştur. Her askeri müdahale ya da darbe öncesi toplumda cepheleşme had safhaya ulaşmış, ciddi bir ekonomik, siyasi gerginlik ve istikrarsızlık yaşanmıştır. Yine her darbe ya da müdahale, sonrasında yeni siyasi parçalanmalar, kırılmalar ve ayrışmalar meydana getirmiştir. Siyasetteki cepheleşme olgusu yakın geçmişte İttihatçı-İtilafçı karşıtlığı, DP döneminde Vatan Cephesi-Husumet Cephesi ve Güç Birliği şeklinde, sonraki dönemde ise Milliyetçi Cephe şeklinde dönemsel olarak oluşmuştur. Bu çalışma ile Türk siyasetinde önemli ve kritik bir dönemi oluşturan MC hükümetleri dönemlerinin tarihsel-toplumsal dinamiklerinin çözümlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. In the period between 1973-1980, when political turmoil, terror and violence were experienced and the polarization increased, with the formation of National Front (MC), political and social polarization reached the advanced stage. During this period, Turkey kept away from solving even its current problems by falling into the coil of a right-left confrontation. The right-wing, setting aside small differences among them, and also as a requirement of patriotism, united around the AP, against the communist menace which is the main factor in the formation of MC. The new government was formed by By Suleyman Demirel, leader of the AP, and the coalition government consisting of the AP, MSP, CGP, and MHP ministers which parties have gone down inTurkish political history as1.National Front Government (31.03.1975-21.06.1977).They weren’t able to establish the strong government which Turkey needs in the elections of 1977 instead 2.National Front Government (21.06.1977-05.01.1978) was established by.Before each military intervention or military coup, confrontation in society reached the advanced stage ,a serious economic, political tension and instability occurred. Again, each military intervention or military coup gave rise to new political ruptures, breaks, and divisions later on. The case of confrontation in politics, in the past, caused Unionist-Ententeist opposition, in DP period, caused Country Front- Front of hostility, and in the multi-party lifetime, occurred periodically in the form of the National Front. In this study, analyzing of the historical-social dynamics of the periods, when MC governments have made up an important and critical era in Turkish politics, is aimed.
