Çocukların tüketici olarak davranışları, tüketici sosyalleşmesi kavramı içinde ele alınmaktadır. Çocukların tüketici olarak sosyalleşme süreci, onların pazarda tüketici olarak ihtiyaç duydukları bilgi, yetenek ve tutumları kazanma sürecinde tüketici olarak sosyalleşmeleridir.Günümüzde kendi ihtiyaçlarını satın alan, ailenin satın alma davranışı üzerinde de ciddi etkileri olan çocuk tüketicilerin sayıları gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. Bu durum araştırmacıların dikkatini çekmiş ve bu konuda araştırmalar yapılmaya başlanmıştır.Ancak çocukların tüketici olarak sosyalleşmesinde internetin etkisi konusunda araştırmanın bulunmaması üzerine bu durum çalışmanın konusunu belirlemede etkin olmuştur.Yapılan bu çalışma, toplumun her bireyinin yaşamında önemli bir yer tutan internetin; çocukların tüketici olarak sosyalleşmesindeki rolünü tespit etmek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu araştırma Burdur’un Bucak ilçesinde bir kolej ile bir devlet okulunda uygulanmış; ortaöğretim 6.-7.-8. Sınıf öğrencilerinin ailelerine bir anket çalışması uygulanarak konuyla ilgili bazı sonuçlar elde edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Children’s behaviors as consumers are discussed within the concept of consumer socialization. The socialization process of children as consumers can be defined as their socializing as consumers in the process of gaining information, skills and attitudes they need in the markets as consumers.The number of children consumers currently purchasing their own needs and having serious effects on families’ purchasing behavior is increasing with each and every passing day. This occurrence has drawn the attention of researchers and researches have begun to be made in this subject. However, the lack of research on the affect of the Internet on the socialization of children as consumers has become effective in determining the subject of this study.This study was conducted to determine the role of the internet-which holds an important place in the life of every individual of the society- on the socialization of children as consumers. This research has been applied in a private high school and a public school in Bucak district of the Burdur province and some results were tried to be obtained on the issue by applying a survey to the families of the 6th, 7th and 8th classes of secondary school students.
