Turizm sektöründe konaklama işletmelerinin sunduğu en önemli unsur hizmettir. Konaklama işletmelerinin müşterilerine kaliteli hizmet verebilmesi ancak çalışanların becerisiyle mümkündür. Bu sebeple turizm sektöründe çalışanların hizmet vermeye yatkın kişiler olması gerekmektedir. Alternatif turizmin en önemlilerinden olan kış turizmi gün geçtikçe önemini arttırmakta ve ülkelerin atıl zaman olarak değerlendirdiği kış aylarının turizm açısından verimli geçmesini sağlamaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Isparta'da kış turizminde hizmet veren konaklama işletmesi çalışanlarının, Isparta'ya kış turizmi için gelen turistlere yönelik hizmet verme yatkınlığının, çalışanların cinsiyet, yaş, medeni durum, eğitim düzeyi, aylık ortalama gelir, mezun oldukları lise veya üniversite turizmle ilgilimi, çalışmakta oldukları departman, kaç yıldır aynı işletmede çalıştıkları, kaç yıldır turizm sektöründe çalıştıkları değişkenleri ile farklılığının araştırılmasıdır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Isparta'da kış turizmine yönelik hizmet veren 15 adet turizm yatırım ve işletme belgeli konaklama tesisleri oluşturmaktadır. Tesislerdeki çalışanlar üzerine yapılan araştırmada 324 adet ankete ulaşılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 17.0 paket programı ile analize tabi tutulmuştur. Analiz sonucunda çalışanların düşük gelir grubuna sahip, eğitim seviyesi lise mezunu ve genç yaş grubu ağırlıklı, erkek cinsiyetin çoğunlukta olduğu, çoğunluğunun restoran ve önbüro departmanında çalıştığı, yarıdan fazlasının mezun oldukları lise veya üniversitenin turizmle ilgili olmadığı, çoğunluğunun en az bir yıldır aynı işletmede çalıştıkları ve en az bir yıldır turizm sektöründe oldukları görülmektedir. Service is the most important component that the accommodation enterprises in the tourism sector offer. That accommodation enterprises can provide high quality service to customers is only possible with the skill of the staff. Therefore the staff working in tourism sector must be predisposed to serve. Winter tourism which is one of the most important types of alternative tourism increases its importance day by day, and winter months considered as dead time by the countries are becoming more important in terms of tourism. The purpose of this study is to search the serving predisposition of the employees working in the hospitality businesses serving on winter tourism in Isparta. And the study tries to research the the differences in the variables of employees'gender, age, marital status, education level, monthly income, whether the high schools or universities which they graduated from are related to tourism, the department they work, how long they work at the same company, how many years they work in the same company. The sample of the study consists of fifteen hospitality businesses certified with investment and operation licience which serve for winter tourism in Isparta. In the survey on employees in these facilities, 324 questionnaires were reached. The data obtained were analyzed with SPSS 17.0 software package. The results of analysis show that the employees are in low-income group, they are high school graduates, they are mainly in younger age group, the majority of them are male, most of them work in the restaurant and front desk department, more than half of them aren't the graduates of high schools or universities which are related to tourism, most of them work at the same company for at least a year and that they are in tourism sector for at least a year.
