İşsizlik, ülkeden ülkeye farklılık gösteren ve her ülkenin kendi dinamikleriyle etkileşim halinde olan bir sorundur. Ülkemizde de gerek genç nüfusun fazla olması, gerekse geçmişte yürütülen yanlış politikaların etkisiyle işsizlik sorunu temel ekonomik ve toplumsal sorunların başında yer almaktadır. İşsizlikle mücadele de yeni görüşlerim benimsenmesi, beşeri sermayeye yatırımın artırılması ve kaynakların etkin kullanımı bu sorunun aşılmasında önemli rol oynamaktadır. Türkiye de işsizlik faktörünün geniş bir ayağını oluşturan kadın istihdamında ki sıkıntıların varlığı yadsınamaz bir gerçektir. Ülkemizde sadece sektörlere ve yaşa göre değil aynı zamanda bölgelere göre de farklılık arz eden kadın istihdamı kendi içinde bir çok sıkıntıyı barındırmaktadır. Dünyada birçok gelişmiş ve gelişmekte olan ülkelerin aksine geleneklere bağlılık, kadının aile içinde ki rolü, işverenlerin kadın işçilere bakış açısı, eğitimde ki sıkıntıları varlığı sosyo-kültürel etkenlerin varlığı, kadınların iş hayatına katılım sürecinde önemli etkiye sahiptir. Kadınların işgücüne katılımını engelleyen faktörlerin analiz edilmesi, yeni politikalar geliştirilmesi ve kadınların değişen ve gelişen çalışma hayatına ayak uydurmasını sağlayacak, mesleki bilgi ve becerisini arttıracak faaliyetler ve teşvikler çalışma hayatını kadınlara daha cazip hale getirmekte etkin rol almasını sağlayacaktır. Araştırmanın temel sonucunda kadınların çalışma yaşamına girmede istekli oldukları, toplumun kendilerine biçmiş olduğu yapının dışında kendilerine olan özgüvenlerinin tam olduğu, fakat işe girmede ve iş yaşamında sıkıntılar yaşadıkları, bunların çözüme kavuşturulmasının gerek kendilerine gerekse topluma olumlu yansımalarının olacağı belirtilmiştir. Bu çalışmamızın amacı, Psiko-sosyal ve ekonomik açıdan kadın istihdamı hakkında bilgi vermek, Türkiye'de kadın istihdamının durumunu, sorunun nedenlerini ortaya koymak ve son olarak da soruna yönelik değerlendirmeleri yapmak ve hangi politikaların uygun olacağını belirlemektir. Unemployment, which differ from country to another is a problem which interacts with its own dynamics of each country. The number of young people as well as the impact of wrong policies implementedin the past are the problems of unemployment which is among the major economic and social problems. A new point of view will be adopted to fight unemployment, such as increase the efficient use of resources and investment in human capital which would act as an important role in overcoming this problem. In Turkey working women are one cause of the problems in unemployment, which is an undeniable truth, is vary by region. As well as it faces the sector and the employment of women. The process of participation of women in working life has a significant impact in adherence to traditions unlike many developed and developing countries in the world, besides to the role of women in the family, perspective employers of women workers, and education on the problems of the existence of sociocultural factors. Analysis of the factors that hinder women's participation in the labor force, as well as the new policy will allow development, women's changing and evolving working life to adapt professional knowledge and activities to improve the skills and incentives to work which is providing effective roles in making women's life more attractive. The main resutts of research the at women are willing to enter in working life that their can frdence is complete apart from what society has done for them but they have problems about getting into work and burnoss life and it is stated that soluing there problems will have pasivite effects on them and society. The aim of this work, psycho-social and economically speaking is to provide information about the employment of women, the status of women's employment in Turkey to reveal the cause of the problem and finally make assessment of the problem and determine its appropriate politics.
