Günümüze kadar Hz. Peygamber (s) hakkında onu öven birçok nesir ve şiir türü eserler kaleme alınmıştır. Sahabe devrinde Hassan b. Sabit, Abdullah b. Ravâha ve Ka'b b. Mâlik gibi Hz. Peygamber'i (s) öven şair sahabilerin olması ve günümüze kadar muhtelif dillerde sayıları yüzleri aşan şiir tarzı eserlerin kaleme alınması Hz. Peygamber'e (s) olan aşkın bir göstergesidir. Bu eserlerden biri de tezimize konu olan Süleyman Çelebi'nin Vesiletü'n-Necat adlı eseridir. Halk arasında "mevlid" diye bilinen bu eser Süleyman Çelebi tarafından Hz. Peygamber'e (s) övgüler içeren bir şiir tarzında yazılmıştır. Yüzyıllarca Türk milleti tarafından itibar gören ve okutulan mevlid, hâlâ cami hocaları tarafından cenaze, evlenme ve sünnet merasimleri gibi programlarda okunmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın Birinci Bölümü'nde Süleyman Çelebi'nin hayatı ve bilinen tek eseri olan Vesiletü'n-Necat (mevlid) adlı eseri ve içeriği ele alınmıştır. İkinci Bölümü'nde Süleyman Çelebi'nin mevlidini yazarken yararlanmış olabileceği düşünülen hadisler incelenmiştir. Son olarak genel bir değerlendirme yapılarak sonuca varılmaya çalışılmış, Sonuç kısmında ise Süleyman Çelebi'nin mevlidindeki beyitlerde geçen rivâyetlerin incelenmesinde hadislerin sahîh olduğu kadar, zayıf ve hatta uydurma rivayetlerin de bulunduğu görülmüştür. Bunun sebebinin de o dönemin kültürel yapısından ve bu rivâyetlerin halk arasında çok yaygın kullanılmasından kaynaklandığı ve Süleyman Çelebi'nin eserinde râvi ve sened bilgileri görülmediğinden dolayı, zayıf ve hatta uydurma rivayetlerin de mevlid'de yer bulduğu düşünülmektedir. Ayrıca Süleyman Çelebi'nin, eserini yazarken hadis rivayetinde bulunmak gibi bir niyetinin olmadığı ve eserinin asıl konusunun insanlara Hz. Peygamber'i (s) sevdirmek olduğu da bir gerçektir. Until recently, many prose and poetry works were written about praising The Prophet Muhammed (s). during the reign of his Companions the poet Companions has been praising The Prophet Muhammed (s) like Hassan b. Sabit, Abdullah b. Ravâha and Ka'b b. Mâlik. Until today, poetry style works in excess of hundreds were written in several languages. All of that shows the big love of The Prophet Muhammed (s). One of these works is the subject of our thesis. İt is Süleyman Çelebi's work which called as "Vesiletü'n-Necat". This work which is popularly known as "mevlid" was written by Süleyman Çelebi as a poetry style to praise The Prophet Muhammed (s). For centuries, mevlid which is respected and read by the Turkish nation is still be reading by the mosque workers for many programs such as funeral, marriage and circumcision ceremonies. İn the First Division of this study, the life of Süleyman Çelebi, his work which is only known Vesiletü'n-Necat (mevlid) and its content were discussed. İn the Second Division, hadiths which is expected to be utilized when Süleyman Çelebi was writing his mevlid were examined. Finally, we have tried to reach a conclusion by making an overall assessment. As a result of our study, we saw true, weak and false hadiths that were used by Süleyman Çelebi in his mevlid. The reason for this is also the cultural structure of that period and It caused by widespread use among the people of these narrations. One of the cause of the fake hadiths in mevlid is not to be any information in mevlid about these hadiths as an information of narrators. Also Süleyman Çelebi has no intention about narrative of these hadiths in his mevlid. It is also true that the real subject of his work is to instill the people prophet love.
