Örgütlerin kendilerini geleceğe taşımalarının ve elde ettikleri rekabet üstünlüğünü sürdürebilmelerinin birçok farklı bileşeni vardır ve çalışanların katılımı, geliştirilmesi bu bileşenlerin en önemlilerindendir. Örgütler çalışanlarının bilgi, birikim ve potansiyellerini yönetir, geliştirir ve özgürce kullanmalarını sağlayabilirlerse amaçlarına ulaşmada avantaj elde edebilirler. Çalışanların örgütün temel faaliyet konularında bilgisini, tecrübesini, fikir ve düşüncesini esirgemesi olarak tanımlanan örgütsel sessizliğin genel bir tutum olarak yerleşmesi bahsedilen bu amaçlara ulaşmada büyük bir engel olarak örgütün karşısına çıkabilir. Performans ise, en basit tanımıyla görevin yerine getirilme düzeyi olarak değerlendirilebilir. Bu tez çalışması ile hastane çalışanlarının sessizlik tutumları ile performansları arasında bir ilişki olup olmadığının tespit edilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Çalışma üç bölümden meydana gelmektedir. İlk bölümde; örgütsel sessizlik kavramı, tarihsel gelişimi, nedenlerinin ve sonuçlarının analizine yönelik literatür taraması yapılmıştır. İkinci bölümde; örgütsel sessizliğin boyutları, performans kavramı, önemi ve gerekçeleri ile ilgili literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın son bölümünde, çalışmanın amacı, veri toplama yöntemleri, araştırmanın hipotezleri, bulgular ve analizler yer almaktadır. Araştırma Isparta il merkezinde bulunan Isparta Devlet Hastanesi çalışanlarını kapsamaktadır. Veri toplama işlemi, demografik verilere yönelik 7 soru, örgütsel sessizlik ve performansa ilişkin 34 sorudan oluşan, 3 bölüm şeklinde tasarlanan anket aracılığı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışanların mesleki dağılım oranlarına göre örneklem tabakalandırılmış ve toplam 370 kişilik bir katılım sağlanmıştır. Öncelikle örgütsel sessizlik boyutları ile performanstan elde edilen ortalama puanların demografik değişkenlere göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı incelenmiştir. Sonrasında ise örgütsel sessizlik tutumları ile çalışan performansı arasındaki bir ilişki olup olmadığı Pearson Korelasyon Analizi ile analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonucunda örgütsel sessizlik boyutları ile çalışan performansı arasında pozitif bir ilişki olduğu bulunmuştur. Anahtar Kelimeler: Örgütsel Sessizlik, Çalışan Performansı.
There are many different components that organizations can carry forward in their future and the competitive superiority they have achieved, and the participation and development of employees are the most important of these components. Organizations can gain advantage in reaching their goals if they can manage, improve and freely use their knowledge, knowledge and potentials. The inclusion of organizational silence as a general attitude, which is defined as the inevitability of employees' knowledge, experience, ideas and thought in organized activity, can be seen as a major obstacle to achieving these goals. Performance can be evaluated as the level of fulfillment with the simplest definition. With this thesis study, it was aimed to determine whether there is a relation between silent attitudes and performances of hospital employees. The study is divided into three parts. In the first section; the concept of organizational silence, its historical development, literature search for the analysis of causes and consequences. In the second chapter; the literature on the dimensions of organizational silence, the concept of performance, its importance and reasons have been searched. In the third chapter, which constitutes the last part of the work and the application part; Purpose of study, data collection methods, research hypotheses, findings and analyzes. The study covers the employees of Isparta State Hospital located in the city center of Isparta. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire designed in 3 sections, consisting of 7 questions on demographic data and 34 questions on organizational silence and performance. The sample was stratified according to the occupational distribution ratios of the employees and a total of 370 persons were attended. Firstly, it was examined whether the average scores of organizational silence and performance and differ according to demographic variables. Subsequently, Pearson Correlation Analysis was used to analyze whether there is a relationship between organizational silence attitudes and employee performance. As a result of the analysis, it was found that there is a positive relationship between organizational silence dimensions and employee performance.
