Bu çalışmada özel sektör çalışanlarının algıladıkları örgütsel sessizlik ile iş performans ilişkisinde kişi-örgüt uyumunun rolü incelenmiştir. Örgütsel sessizlik ve iş performans arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymak ve bu ilişkiler üzerinde lider tarzlarının rolünü sorgulamak amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde, genel olarak sessizlik ve örgütsel sessizlik kavramlarına ilişkin teorik bilgiler verilerek, örgütsel sessizliğin nedenleri ve sonuçları belirtilmiştir ve iş performans kavramı ve örgütsel performansın belirleyicileri üzerinde durulmuştur.. İkinci bölümde, liderlik ve lider tarzları ile ilgili açıklamalar yapılmış. Son bölüm olan üçüncü bölümde ise, özel sektör çalışanları üzerinde alan araştırması yapılmıştır. Örgütsel sessizlik, çalışanların görevleri ya da çalışma yerleri ile ilgili ortaya çıkan sorunlarla ilgili fikir ve bilgilerini bilinçli olarak üstlerine söylemeyip sessiz kalmaları olarak ifade edilebilir. Örgütsel sessizlik kavramı, örgüt çalışanları hem özel hayatlarında hem de iş hayatlarında bazı faktörlerin etkisinde kalarak, hem kendi hayatları hem de iş hayatlarındaki durumlarıyla ilgili bilinçli olarak üstlerine söylememeyi tercih etmeleri olarak ifade edilebilir. Performans kavramı, işyerinin belirlemiş olduğu hedef doğrultusunda işgörenlerin amaçlarına ve olması beklenene ne kadar ulaşabildiğini belirlemektedir. İşgörene işinde ne yapması gerektiği ile asıl ne yaptığı arasındaki ilişkinin bir fonksiyonudur. İşyerlerindeki en önemli performans, işgören performansıdır. Çünkü işgörenlerin performansı işyerinin başarısının bir göstergesidir. İş performansı genel anlamda, işgörenlere ödenecek olan ücret karşısında göstermiş oldukları çaba olarak da nitelendirilmektedir. Liderlik, ortak bir hedefe ulaşmak isteyen insanları, bu hedeflere ulaşmada etkileme sürecidir. Liderlik, emretmek değil, ikna etmektir. Liderlik, bireylerin tek başlarına gitmeyi beceremedikleri yerlere onları götürmektir. Örgütsel sessizlik kavramının ortaya çıkması halinde iş performansının ne derece etkilendiği araştırma konusuna dahil edilmiştir. Örgütsel sessizlik ve iş performans ilişkisinde lider tarzlarının bir anlamlı etki oluşturması söz konusu mudur bunlar üzerinde durulmak istenmektedir. In this study, the role of organizational silence perceived by private sector employees and organizational harmony in relation to job performance is examined. It is aimed to reveal the relationship between organizational silence and job performance and to question the role of leader styles on these relationships. The study consists of three parts. In the first part, the theoretical information about the concepts of silence and organizational silence in general, the reasons and results of organizational silence are given and the concept of job performance and the determinants of organizational performance are emphasized. In the second part, explanations about leadership and leader styles are made. In the third chapter, which is the last chapter, field research has been carried out on the employees of the private sector. Organizational silence can be expressed as silence, not deliberately superseding ideas and information about problems that arise in relation to employees' duties or work places. The concept of organizational silence can be expressed as the preference of organizational employees not to say to their superiors consciously about their own lives as well as their working life, under the influence of certain factors in both their private lives and their working lives. The concept of performance determines the extent to which the workplace has achieved its objectives and what it is expected to achieve in line with its stated goal. It is a function of the relationship between what the worker should do in his work and what he actually does. The most important performance in the workplace is occupational performance. Because the performance of the workshops is a sign of the success of the workplace. Business performance is generally described as the effort they have shown against wages to be paid for work. Leadership is the process of influencing people who want to achieve a common goal to reach those goals. Leadership is not to order but to persuade. Leadership is to take them to places where individuals can not go alone. The extent to which business performance is influenced by the emergence of the concept of organizational silence is included in the research. It is desired to emphasize that leadership styles in terms of organizational silence and job performance have a meaningful effect.
