Eğitimde teknoloji entegrasyonu pek çok unsurdan etkilenen çok boyutlu ve karmaşık bir süreçtir. Önceki araştırmalar, teknik altyapı ve öğretmen yeterlilikleri gibi sorunların reformlar ve hizmet içi eğitimlerle zamanla çözüldüğünü ve bariyer etkilerinin azaldığını göstermektedir. Ancak, okul kültürü ve teknoloji liderliği gibi çevresel ve kültürel faktörlerin entegrasyon sürecini nasıl etkilediği tam olarak bilinmemektedir. Dolayısıyla bu çalışmada, okul kültürü, teknoloji liderliği ve destek hizmetlerinin teknoloji entegrasyonu üzerindeki doğrudan ve dolaylı etkilerini irdeleyen yapısal bir model önerilmesi ve test edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Önerilen model Isparta ilindeki 20 ortaöğretim kurumunda çalışan 396 öğretmenden anket yöntemiyle toplanan veriler üzerinde yapısal eşitlik modellemesi (YEM) yoluyla sınanmıştır. YEM analizinde ilk olarak modelde yer alan değişkenlerin psikometrik özellikleri ölçme modeli ile doğrulanmış, sonrasında ise değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiler yapısal model ile tespit edilmiştir. Bulgular teknoloji entegrasyonun; destek hizmetleri tarafından doğrudan ve okul kültürü tarafından da teknoloji liderliği ve destek hizmetleri aracılığıyla dolaylı olarak etkilendiğini göstermiştir. Sonuç olarak bu çalışma, eğitim politikacılarına ve yöneticilerine, eğitim teknolojilerinin kullanımını artırmak için, ortak bir vizyonun paylaşıldığı destekleyici ve olumlu bir okul ortamı ve iklimi oluşturmayı önermektedir. Technology integration into educational settings is a multi-dimensional and complex process influenced by many factors. Previous studies in this area demonstrate that some factors such as technical infrastructure and teacher competencies and their barrier effects have been diminished through reforms and in-service education over time. However, there is not enough evidence on how environmental and cultural factors, like school culture and technology leadership, affect technology integration. Therefore, this study aims to propose and test a structural model explaining teachers’ technology integration through school culture, technology leadership and support services. The proposed model was tested through structural equation modeling (SEM) on the dataset collected from 396 teachers working at the 20 high schools in Isparta, Turkey. In the SEM analyses, psychometric properties of the model constructs were initially confirmed through the measurement model and then the relationships between the constructs were explored through the structural model. The results revealed that technology integration was directly affected by support services and indirectly affected by school culture through the mediation of technology leadership and support services. In conclusion, the study suggests that educational politicians and administrators create a supportive and positive school environment with a shared vision in order to increase the use of educational technologies.
