Bu çalışmanın konusu, üniversite öğrencilerinin dua tutumları ile psikolojik iyi olma düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin bilimsel yöntemlerle incelenmesidir. Araştırmanın örneklemi Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi'nde öğrenim görmekte olan 349 kız, 196 erkek, toplam 545 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmada dua tutumunu ölçmek için Ahmet Albayrak tarafından geliştirilen “Dua Tutum Ölçeği”; psikolojik iyi olma düzeylerini ölçmek için E. Olcay İmamoğlu tarafından 2004’te Türkçeye uyarlanan “Psikolojik İyi Olma Ölçeği” ve araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada öğrencilerin cinsiyet, yaş, fakülte, sınıf, aile gelir durumu, yaşamın büyük çoğunluğunun geçirildiği yer ve kendini dindar hissetme düzeyi gibi değişkenler ile dua tutumları ve psikolojik iyi olma düzeyleri arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucuna göre; deneklerin dua tutumlarının cinsiyet, yaş, devam edilen fakülte, sınıf düzeyi ve kendini dindar hissetme düzeyine göre farklılık gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. Deneklerin dua tutumlarının aile gelir durumu ve yaşamın büyük çoğunluğunun geçirildiği yere göre ise farklılık göstermediği tespit edilmiştir. Deneklerin psikolojik iyi olma düzeylerinin cinsiyet, yaş, devam edilen fakülte, sınıf düzeyi, aile gelir durumu, yaşamın büyük çoğunluğunun geçirildiği yer kendini dindar hissetme düzeyine göre farklılık göstermediği tespit edilmiştir. Deneklerin dua tutumları ile psikolojik iyi olma düzeyleri arasında düşük düzeyde ve pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Deneklerin dua tutumları ile kendini kabul, bireysel gelişim, diğerleriyle olumlu ilişkiler, çevresel hâkimiyet ve özerklik alt boyutları arasında düşük düzeyde ve pozitif yönlü bir ilişki tespit edilirken yaşam amacı alt boyutu arasında düşük düzeyde ve negatif yönlü bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the attitudes of the university students and their psychological well-being with scientific methods. The sample of the research consists of 545 students, 349 girls and 196 boys, who are studying at Süleyman Demirel University. "Prayer Attitude Scale" developed by Ahmet Albayrak to measure prayer attitudes in the study; Psychological Well-Being Scale "and" Personal Information Form "developed by the researcher were used by E. Olcay İmamoğlu in 2004 for the Turkish language. In the study, the relationship between variables such as gender, age, faculty, class, family income status, place where most of life is spent and feelings of self-religiousness and prayer attitudes and psychological well-being were examined. According to the research result; It was determined that the prayer attitudes of the subjects differ according to gender, age, ongoing faculty, class level and level of self-religious feeling. It has been determined that the family income situation does not differ according to the place where the vast majority of life is spent. It was determined that the psychological well-being of the subjects did not differ according to gender, age, ongoing faculty, class level, family income status, place where the majority of life is spent, and the level of self-religious feeling. There was a significant correlation between prayer attitudes and psychological well-being of the subjects at low level and positive level. A low and negative relationship was found between the prayer attitudes of the subjects and self-acceptance, individual development, positive relations with others, environmental dominance and autonomy sub-dimensions, and low-level and positive relationship between life sub-dimension.
