Bu çalışmanın amacı, pazar yönlülük kavramının Türkiye ve Dünya'daki durumunu incelemektir. Ayrıca pazar yönlülük ile performans düzeyi arasındaki ilişkiyi araştırmaktır. Bu sebeple hastanelerde yönetici olarak görev yapan 75 kişiye anket uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada Matsuno ve diğ. (2000) tarafından geliştirilen Market Orientation ölçeğidir. Ölçeğin güvenilirliği test edilmiştir. Verilerin analizi için IBM SPSS 22.0 programından faydalanılmıştır. Hastanelerin pazarlama departmanına sahip olması durumu ile pazar yönlülük ve performans düzeyleri arasındaki farklılığı ve hastanelerin türü ile pazar yönlülük ve performans düzeyleri arasındaki farklılığı incelemek için T-Testi yapılmıştır. Hastanelerin teknik özellikleri ile pazar yönlülük ve performans düzeyleri arasındaki farklılığı incelemek için ANOVA testi yapılmıştır. Ayrıca hastanelerin pazar yönlülüğü ile performansları arasındaki ilişkiyi araştırmak için korelâsyon analizi yapılmıştır. Yapılan analizlere göre hastanelerde pazarlama departmanı bulunması ile hastanelerin pazar yönlülük dereceleri arasında ve hastanelerde pazarlama departmanı bulunması ile performans düzeyleri arasında farklılık vardır. Ayrıca hastanelerin türü hastanelerin pazar yönlülük derecelerine etki etmektedir. Son olarak hastanelerin pazar yönlü olmasının hastanelerin performans düzeylerine etki etmediği sonucuna varılmıştır. The purpose of this study is to examine the situation of market orientation in Turkey and in the world. In addition to, investigate the relationship between market orientation and performance level. For this reason, to 75 managers in the hospital were survey. Market Orientation scale and performance developed by Matsuno et. al. (2000) in the survey. IBM SPSS 22.0 softwares are used to analyze the data. The difference between the marketing department in hospitals and the rating of market orientation and performance levels of the hospital has been examined. In addition, a t-test was conducted to examine the difference between the type of hospitals and market orientation ratings and performance levels. An ANOVA test was conducted to examine the difference between the technical characteristics of hospitals and market orientation and performance levels. In addition, a correlation analysis was conducted to investigate the relationship between performance levels of hospitals and market rientation. According to research findings, there is a difference between market orientation ratings of the hospitals and hospitals having the marketing department. Besides there is a difference between performance levels of the hospitals and hospitals having the marketing department. In addition, the type of hospitals affects the market orientation of hospitals. Finally, it was concluded that the market orientation of the hospitals did not affect the performance levels of the hospitals.
