Bu çalışmanın amacı, Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi girişimcilik dersi alan öğrencilerin kişilik özellikleriyle girişimcilik eğilimleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Araştırmanın evrenini Isparta’da eğitim gören Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi girişimcilik dersi alan öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise 12 fakülteden seçilen 647 lisans öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Anketin sorularını 44 soruluk Beş Faktör Kişilik Ölçeği ve Prof. Dr. Ali Murat Sünbül ve Doç. Dr. Ercan Yılmaz tarafından geliştirilen 36 soruluk girişimcilik eğilimi ölçeği oluşturmaktadır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma girişimcilik dersi alan öğrencilerin girişimcilik eğilimlerinin belirlenmesi ve kişilik özelliklerinin girişimcilik eğilimleri üzerindeki etkilerinin saptanabilmesi açısından önem taşımaktadır. Bu araştırma gelecekteki araştırmalarda girişimcilik dersi alan öğrenciler ile almayan öğrencilerin girişimcilik eğilimlerinin kıyaslaması açısından fayda sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir. Dolayısıyla bu çalışmada öğrencilerin kişilik özellikleri ile girişimcilik eğilimleri ilişkisi tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Dışadönüklük, Deneyime Açıklık, Uyumluluk, Özdisiplin kişilik özellikleri girişimcilik eğilimine pozitif yönde etki ederken Nevrotiklik kişilik özelliğinin girişimcilik eğilimine negatif etki ettiği gözlemlenmiştir. Ayrıca öğrencilerin okudukları fakülteye, cinsiyete, medeni durumlarına ve çocukluk yıllarını geçirdikleri yerlere göre girişimcilik eğilimlerinin farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığına bakılmış ve herhangi bir farklılaşma tespit edilememiştir. The aim of this study is to examine the relationships between personality traits of students who take entrepreneurship course in Suleyman Demirel University and their entrepreneurial tendency. Students who take entrepreneurship courses from Suleyman Demirel University located in Isparta constitute the universe of the research. Students were selected among the students who took entrepreneurship course at Süleyman Demirel University where 84,854 students were educated. These students were formed by selecting among 13 faculty students who took the entrepreneurship course in university. 647 undergraduate students constitute the sample of the research. Five Factor Personality Scale (44 questions) and Entrepreneurship tendency scale (36 questions) developed by Prof. Ali Murat Sünbül ve Assoc. Prof.Ercan Yılmaz form questionnaires. The obtained data were analyzed by using the SPSS program. The research is very important in determining the entrepreneurship tendencies of students who take entrepreneurship courses and in determining the effects of personality traits on entrepreneurial tendencies. This research is importance of entrepreneurship course and comparison of the entrepreneurial tendencies of the students who took entrepreneurship lessons and ones who did not in future research. The relationship between personality traits of students and entrepreneurship tendencies was detected. It is observed that Extraversion, Agreeableness, Openness to Experience, Self-discipline personality traits have a positive effect on the entrepreneurial tendency while neuroticism personality trait has negatively influenced on the entrepreneurial tendency. Also, wieved whether entrepreneurial tendencies have differentiated according to the students' faculties, sexes, marital status and where they have spent their childhood years but no differentiation has been detected.
