Osmanlı Devleti’nin en parlak dönemi olmasının yanında tasavvufî oluşumların da en renkli ve çalkantılı olduğu bir zamanda yaşamış olan Kemâl Paşazâde (873/1469 – 940/1534), hem bürokrasinin çeşitli kademelerinde görev almış, hem de ilmiye sınıfında hizmet vermiş önemli ilim adamlarından birisidir. Kanûnî döneminde şeyhülislamlık makâmına kadar yükselmiş olup 300’den fazla eseri bulunmaktadır. Bilgi ve birikimini devlete ve İslâm Dîni’ne hizmet için sarfetmiş, bu uğurda kendisi gibi ömrünü harcamış olan birçok talebe yetiştirmiştir. Kemâl Paşazâde, zâhirî ilimlere olan vukûfiyetiyle öne çıkmasının yanında bâtınî yönü de kuvvetli bir şahsiyettir. Nitekim Sümbül Sinan Efendi (v. 936/1529) ve İbrâhim Gülşenî (v. 940/1534) gibi önde gelen şeyhlerle yakınlık kurmuştur. Ancak tasavvufî meseleleri ele alırken büründüğü üslubu ve sert tutumu, onun tasavvuf karşıtı biri olarak algılanmasına sebep olmuştur. Kemâl Paşazâde’nin tasavvuf alanında müstakil olarak kaleme aldığı eserleri bulunduğu gibi diğer bâzı eserlerlerinde de yer yer tasavvuf konularına değinmiştir. Onun tasavvufa dâir yazmış olduğu kitapları arasında görüş ve fikirlerini en kapsamlı şekilde yansıtan eseri Risâletü’l-Münîre’dir. Eser, tasavvufun yanında fıkıh ve kelâm ilimlerine dâir konuları da ihtivâ etmesi bakımından zengin bir içeriğe sahiptir. Bu çalışmada bahsi geçen eser bağlamında ilim ve irşâda taalluk eden konular ele alınmadan önce Kemâl Paşazâde’nin tasavvufî yönü incelenmiş ve onun tasavvuf karşıtı olmadığı gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır. Daha sonra çalışmanın konusunu oluşturan zâhirî ve bâtınî ilim dualitesi, zikirle birlikte yapılan raks ve deverân, âlim ve şeyhlerden sâdır olan bid’at ve kerâmetler gibi muhtelif konular incelenmiştir. Ibn Kamal Pasha (873/1469 – 940/1534), who lived in the most glorious time of the Ottoman Empire as well as the most diverse and complicated time of Sufi formations, was one of the important scholars who served in both various levels of the bureaucracy and the ulama class. During the period of Kanuni, he was promoted up to the position of Sheikhulislam and he wrote more than 300 publications. He devoted his knowledge and experience to the state and to serve the Islam, and also raised many students who spent their life for this goal. Ibn Kamal Pasha had a strong esoteric aspect besides his prominent knowledge in visible sciences. Thus, he has established close relations with notable sheikhs such as Sumbul Sinan Efendi (v. 936/1529) and Ibrahim Gülşeni (v. 940/1534). However, his style and rigid attitude while discussing sufistic matters caused him to be perceived as an opponent of Sufism. As there are works of Ibn Kamal Pasha all in the area of Sufism, there are also some other works in which he mentioned occasionally Sufistic subjects. The work which reflects his opinions and ideas in the most comprehensive way among his works about Sufism, is Risala al-Munira. The work has a rich content in point of containing Islamic jurisprudence and theology subjects besides Sufism. In this study, before considering the subjects related to knowledge and guidance in context of the mentioned work, we evaluated the Sufistic aspect of Ibn Kamal Pasha and tried to demonstrate that he was not opposed to Sufism. Then, it is investigated various topics that is the main subject of this study, such as the duality of visible and esoteric knowledge, dhikr with raks (dance) and rotation, and innovations and miracles appear from scholars and sheiks.
