Çalışma hayatında iş ve işin niteliğine göre verilen emeğin sonucu olan ücret, insan hayatı için olmazsa olmaz bir unsurdur. İnsan aldığı ücret ile yaşamaktadır. Bazı dönemlerde ekonomik dengesizliklerin sonucu olarak meydana gelen krizler ise ekonomide daralmaya yol açtığından dolayı işsizlik ve istihdamda azalma ortaya çıkmaktadır. Ücretini alamayan işsiz insanların fazla olması krizlerin boyutunu derinleştirmektedir. Bu kriz ve daralmaların etkilediği sektörlerin başında Bankacılık sektörü gelmektedir. Bu tezin amacı Türkiye‘de 1990-2012 yılları arasında ekonomideki dengesizliklerin yol açtığı işsizliğe bağlı olarak Bankacılık sektörünün krizin neresinde olduğu ve çalışanlarının da bu krizden ne kadar etkilendiğini incelemektir. Çalışmanın temel çıkış noktası ekonomik krizlerin çoğu zaman ana sebebi olan finansal kuruluşların krizlerde istihdam yapısının nasıl etkilendiğini araştırmaktır. Bu konuyu analiz edebilmek için ekonomik kriz ve istihdamın karşılıklı etkileşiminin anlaşılması ve açıklanması gerekmektedir. The wage, which is the result of labor given to the nature of work and work in working life, is a necessary element for human life. Man lives with the wages he receives. In some periods, crises, which are the result of economic imbalances, cause a decrease in the unemployment and employment due to the contraction in the economy. The fact that many unemployed people are unable to pay their fees deepens the size of the crises. The banking sector is at the forefront of the sectors affected by this crisis and contraction. The aim of this thesis is to examine the extent to which the banking sector is in crisis and how its employees are affected by the unemployment caused by the imbalances in the economy between 1990 and 2012 in Turkey. The main outcome of the study is to investigate how financial institutions, which are often the main cause of economic crises, affect the employment structure in the crisis.
