Henri Bergson (1859-1941) yaşadığı döneme hakim pozitivizm ve materyalizm görüşlerinden farklı bir anlayış geliştirmiş, ruhu, metafizik alanı bilmenin, gerçeğe ulaşmanın sezgi ile mümkün olacağını savunarak, felsefe sistemini sezgi kavramı üzerine inşa etmiştir. Bu araştırmanın amacı Bergson'un bilme yolu kabul ettiği sezgi kavramı etrafında oluşturduğu felsefesinde; ruh-beden, metafizik, evrim, sanat, mistisizm, toplum, din ve ahlak konularını değerlendirmek ve din ile ahlak arasında nasıl bir ilişki kurmaya çalıştığını belirlemektir. Bu kapsamda araştırmada, Bergson'un yetiştiği çevre ve genel felsefesi hakkında bilgi verilmiş, sezgi kavramı ve ilgili terimler sunularak, din ve ahlak görüşleri incelenmiş, din ile ahlak arasında nasıl bir ilişki kurduğu irdelenmiştir. Bu konuların daha iyi anlaşılabilmesi için öncelikle Bergson'un eserleri, ile ilgili tezler ve makaleler esas alınarak, açıklama, analiz, yorumlama ve değerlendirme yöntemlerinden faydalanılmıştır. Filozofun bütün görüşlerinde olduğu gibi din ve ahlak konusundaki görüşlerinde de sezgi kavramının etkisi gözlemlenmiştir. Bergson'a göre gerçek bilgiye ulaşabilmenin asıl yolu, bilimle elde edilen bir takım çıkarımların üzerine sezgisel düşünme yani sezgi ile bilmedir. Ancak o, sezgi kavramının bir bütün halinde açıklamasını vermemiş, başta içgüdüden ayrı olarak aldığı sezgiyi daha sonraları içgüdünün ilerlemiş hali olarak sunmuş ve anlam karmaşasına sebebiyet vermiştir. Filozof evrim konusunda görüşlerini belirterek, gerçek evrimin kendi kendini yaratma olduğunu, bunun da hayat hamlesi ile gerçekleşebileceğini savunmuştur. Bunun yanında doğa tanımında da yeterli bilgiyi sunmadığı için Tanrı ve doğa arasındaki ilişki ve doğa kavramının anlamı ne yazık ki tam olarak çözümlenememiştir. Filozof statik dinde mistisizm etkisinden bahsetmezken, dinamik dinin gerçek din olma sebebini mistisizme bağlar. Bergson'un ele aldığı mistisizm anlayışı da din felsefesinde yer alan dini tecrübe delilini hatırlatmaktadır. Bergson dini, statik ve dinamik dinler olarak iki şekilde sunar ve statik (doğal/geleneksel) dinin geleneklere uymayı emrettiğini, geleneklerin de ahlakı oluşturduğunu savunur. Dinamik (gerçek/evrensel) dinin etkisini ise açık ahlakta yer verdiği mistiklerin insanlara rol model olması görüşü ile ortaya koymuştur. Developing a different understanding than the positivism and materialism prevailing the period he lived, Henri Bergson (1859 – 1941) built the philosophical system on the concept "intuition", by arguing that it is possible to reach the truth and comprehend the soul & metaphysical field with intuition. The objective of this research is to analyze the mind-body, metaphysics, evolution, art, mysticism, society, religion and ethics, as well as identifying the relationship between the religion and ethics within the scope of the philosophy constituted around the concept "intuition" accepted as the way of knowing by Bergson. Within this context, certain information about the upbringing environment and his general philosophy were provided, the conceptions "religion and ethics" were analyzed, while studying the relationship between the religion and ethics, by identifying the concept "intuition" and respective terms. For these subjects to be comprehended better, the methods of explanation, analysis, interpretation and evaluation methods were utilized based on the works of Bergson, including the respective theses and articles at first. As in all the opinions of the Philosopher, the effect of the concept "intuition" can be seen on his opinions with regards to religion and ethics. To Bergson, the main way to reach the true information is through the intuitional thinking over a number of inferences obtained via science, meaning "knowing with intuition". However, he did not provide the explanation of the concept "intuition" as a whole, but rather, he presented the intuition as a progressed form of instinction, which was obtained independently from the instinction, thus causing an ambiguity. The philosopher argued that the real evolution is equal to self-creation, which can be actualized with the life factor, by stating his opinions on evolution. Besides, sadly, the definition of the concept "nature", including the relationship between the God and the nature could not be analyzed, since he did not provide adequate information on the definition of nature. Not mentioning the effect of mysticism in static religion, the philosopher attributes the reason why dynamic religion turned into the actual religion, to mysticism. The conception of mysticism, as discussed by Bergson, reminds the evidence of religious experience, which also puts in an appearance in the religion philosophy. Bergson categorizes religion under two groups as dynamic religion and static religion, while argues that the static (natural/traditional) religion orders to follow the traditions, and the traditions form the ethics. He suggests the effect of dynamic religion (real/universal) with the opinion that the mystics that he included in open ethics becomes a role model for people. In the study, it was concluded that the conception of religion, which was created by Bergson in connection with the concept "intuition" had an impact on the conception of ethics.
