Modern dünyada bireyi ve toplumu anlama açısından manevi destek hizmetleri önem kazanmaktadır.İnsanoğlu var olduğu sürece, maddi yardıma ihtiyaç duyduğu gibi şüphesiz manevi desteğe de ihtiyaç duymaktadır. Bu ihtiyaçtan hareketle Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı ile Sağlık Bakanlığı arasında "Hastanelerde Manevi Destek Hizmetleri Sunmaya Yönelik İşbirliği Protokolü" imzalanmıştır. Bu protokolden sonra, Türkiye'nin altı ilinde pilot uygulama yapılmış ve olumlu sonuçlar alınmıştır. Daha sonraki süreçte bu sayı on dört şehre çıkarılmış, devlet hastaneleri ve üniversite hastanelerinde bu proje uygulanmaya başlanmıştır. Bu çalışmamızda, hastanelerde uygulanmakta olan manevi destek ve rehberlik projesi sosyolojik bir yöntemle incelenecek, bu çalışmanın niçin gerekli olduğu, yurt dışında ve ülkemizde bu hizmetin nasıl yürütüldüğü, sağlık çalışanlarının bu projeye yaklaşımları, toplum ve insan üzerinde artıları ve eksileri ele alınacaktır. Çalışma, Afyonkarahisar Devlet Hastanesi'nde görev yapmakta olan sağlık çalışanları arasından rastgele ve gönüllülük esasına dayalı olarak, iki yüz elli kişi üzerinde anket usulüyle uygulanmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında 'Kişisel Bilgi Formu' ve 'Manevi Destek Algısı Ölçeği' kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bilgiler Spss istatistik programı ile analiz edilmiştir. In the modern world, spiritual support services are gaining importance in terms of understanding the individual and the society. As long as humankind exists, there is no doubt that people will need spiritual support as they need financial assistance. As a result of this need, the Presidency of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Health have signed a "Cooperation Protocol for Providing Spiritual Support Services in Hospitals". In line with the protocol, pilot projects were conducted in six cities in Turkey and positive results were obtained. Later, total number of cities reached fourteen in this project, which is now implemented in state and university hospitals. In this study, the spiritual support and guidance project implemented in hospitals will be studied through a sociological method, discussing the reasons why the project is needed, how these services are carried out abroad and in Turkey, the approach of health professionals to this project as well as its advantages and disadvantages to people and society. The present study was conducted through survey method comprising over 250 people chosen on a random and voluntary basis among the health professionals of Afyonkarahisar State Hospital. 'Personal Information Form' and 'Spiritual Support Perception Scale' were used to collect data and the obtained information was analyzed by SPSS statistical program.
