Bu araştırmanın amacı Isparta müzesi envanterine kayıtlı olan düz dokuma çuvalların yöre, dokunduğu tarih, nitelik, malzeme, teknik, kalite, renk, kullanılan motifler ile kompozisyon özelliklerinin belirlenmesi, eserlerin restorasyon görüp görmediği, müzeye kazandırılma şeklinin tespit edilmesi ve bu bilgilerin literatüre kazandırılmasıdır. Bu çalışma için öncelikle; müzede kayıtlı düz dokuma çuvallarla ilgili ön bilgi toplamak için müze envanterleri taranmış ve bu çalışma için yeterli eserin müzede bulunup bulunmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Daha sonra tespit edilen 30 düz dokuma çuvalın analiz ve incelmelerinin yapılabilmesi için gerekli izinlerin alınması sürecinde, Isparta Müzesine resmi başvuru yapılmış ve gerekli izinler alınmıştır. Tez kapsamında bu dokumalar, genel anlamda, tanımları, yapılış şekilleri ve kompozisyon özellikleri gibi yönlerden ayrıntılı bir şekilde verildikten sonra, ilgili koleksiyonda yer alan örnekler, fotoğrafları çekilerek, dijital ortama aktarılmış, eserlerin yüzey şemaları, motifleri, kompozisyon özellikleri belirlenmiş, katalog düzeninde nitelik, malzeme, renk, boyut, motif ve kompozisyon yönleriyle belgelendirme yapılmıştır. Değerlendirme ve karşılaştırma bölümünde ise, incelenen örnekler, farklı yörelere ait düz dokuma çuvallar ile karşılaştırılmış ve bu dokumaların Anadolu dokumaları içindeki yeri, kullanım özellikleri ve kullanım alanlarıyla birlikte belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. The purpose of this research is to determine the locality, date of weaving, characteristics, materials, technique, quality, color, motifs and composition properties of the plain-woven bags which are registered to the inventory of Isparta museum, to determine if these work pieces have been subjected to restoration or not, and the type of its acquisition by the museum and to allow this information to be included in the literature. For this study, first of all the museum inventories have been scanned in order to collect preliminary information with regard to the plain-woven bags registered in the museum and it was determined if the museum had sufficient amount of workplaces required for this working. Then, during the stage of obtaining the necessary permits for the analysis and examinations to be carried on 30 plain-woven bags, an official application was made to Isparta Museum and necessary permits were obtained. Under the scope of thesis, these weavings has been given in general means in terms of details such as form of manufacturing and composition and the surface schemes and motifs. Properties of the work pieces have been determined and documentation has been made on catalogue order in terms of characteristics, material, color, size, motif and composition. In the assessment and comparison section, the samples examined has been compared with the plain-woven bags of different localities in terms of the above mentioned aspects and we are try to determine the place of these weavings in Anatolian weavings, the properties and areas of usage.
