Günümüzde bir kurumu diğerlerinden ayıran en önemli özellik belirgin bir imaja sahip olmaları ve kalıcı objelerle bilinirlik düzeylerinin farklılık göstermesidir. Hızla sayıları artan üniversiteler ve özelde fakültelerin kurumsal yapılarının geliştirilmesinde, rakiplerine göre farkındalık ve bilinirlik düzeyinin yüksek olmasında kurumsal kimliğin oluşturulması önem kazanmaktadır. Kurumsal kimlik, gerek ilgili fakültenin personeli ve öğrencisinin aidiyet duygusunu güçlendirirken, gerekse rekabetçi koşulların günden güne güçleştiği günümüzde hedef kitlelere ulaşmada tanıtım çalışmalarında sürekliliği sağlamaktadır. Kurum kimliğinin temel unsurlarından biri olan logo (amblem) ise kurum ya da markanın hedef kitleye verdiği güvencenin başlıca göstergesi olarak kabul edilmektedir. Bir kuruluşun logosu yenilendiğinde bu durum kurum kimliğini de doğrudan etkilemektedir. Bu tez çalışmasında Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi 'Kurumsal Kimliği'nin oluşturulması ve fakülteye özgü bilimsel özellikleri dikkate alınarak farklı logo tasarımları, çoklu uygulamalarla beğeniye sunulmuştur. Logo tasarımları ilgili grupları oluşturan, öğrenci, öğretim üyesi başta olmak üzere genele açık bir şekilde oylama ile seçimi yapılmıştır. Elde edilen son logo tasarımı kurumsal imaj perspektifinden değerlendirilerek nihai haline ulaştırılmıştır. Bu süreçte bir diğer hedefi ise kurumlar için önemli bir rekabet unsuru olan kurumsal imaj kavramını açıklamak ve saygın bir kurumsal imaj oluşturmak için yapılması gereken faaliyetleri ortaya koyulmuştur. The main characteristic of an institution that differs it from others is having a spesific image and varing the awareness structures. Because of the increasing numbers of universities and faculties, it is important to establish 'corporate identity' to develop their structure and raise brand awareness of these institutions comparing with their rivalries. Corporate identity strengthens the identity of students and instructors of the related faculty and it can provide the sustainability of advertisement works to reach to the target group in this competitive conditions. Logo, as one of the main instrument of corporate identity, is accepted as a leading indicator of the organisations' guarantee for its target group. When an organisation's logo is renewed, it has directly effect on the corporate identity. In this thesis, I try to present the various logo concepts that are special to Suleyman Demirel University Faculty of Agriculture according to its scientific characteristics and trying to present the establishment process of 'corporate identity'. The designs of logo works are voted by open ballot by related students and instructors. The final logo work has evaluated from corporate image approach. Another target of this study is to explain corporate image concept that is an important competition instrument for organisations and express the necessary activities to establish a respected corporate image.
