Bu araştırmanın amacı, veri tabanı dersini alan öğrencilerin SQL sorgulama dilini en iyi şekilde öğrenmesini sağlayacak bir öğrenme ortamının geliştirilmesi, uygulanması ve değerlendirilmesidir. Bu doğrultuda dört seviyeden oluşan, oyunlaştırma destekli ve kişiye göre uyarlanabilir web tabanlı bir öğrenme ortamı geliştirilmiştir. Bu öğrenme ortamına kullanıcı adı ve şifre ile giriş yapıldıktan sonra başlangıç testi yapılarak öğrencilerin mevcut akademik başarılarına göre sınıflanması sağlanmaktadır. Öğrencilere kendi seviyelerine göre uygulamada hangi soruların sorulacağına sistem tarafından karar verilerek öğrenenlerin bireysel hızlarına göre ilerlemeleri sağlanmıştır. Soruları başarıyla çözen öğrencilere puanlar, rozetler, ilerleme göstergesi ve seviyelerdeki ilerleme imkânları sunularak oyunlaştırma desteği sağlanmıştır. Soruları çözmede başarısız olan öğrenciler için öğrenme ortamında her soru ve kazanım ile ilgili özel olarak hazırlanan konuyu öğrenmelerini sağlayacak modüller sağlanmıştır. Öğrenme ortamında dört seviyeyi başarıyla tamamlayan öğrencilere başlangıç testi ile eşdeğer akademik başarı son testi uygulanmıştır. Bu sistemi 52 öğrenci başarıyla tamamlamıştır. Öğrencilerin ön test genel başarı ortalaması 100 puan üzerinden 62,23 iken uygulama sonrası yapılan son test de genel başarı ortalaması 82,69 puanına yükselmiştir. Öğrencilerin 46'sının (% 88,46) başarı puanlarında artış gözlenmiştir. Arayüz değerlendirme anketinden ve görüşme formundan elde edilen verilerin yorumlanması sonucunda öğrencilerin geliştirilen yazılım hakkında olumlu düşüncelere sahip oldukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. The aim of this study is to develop, implement and evaluate a learning environment that will enable students to learn the SQL query language in the best way. In this respect, a web-based learning environment consisting of four levels, which is supported by gamification, can be adapted. After entering the learning environment with the user name and password, the students are graded according to their current academic achievement. In this application, students are provided to progress according to their individual speed deciding which questions will be ask to the students by the system. The students who successfully solved the questions were provided with points, badges, progress indicators and progress opportunities in the levels to provide gamification support. For the students who fail to solve the questions, modules are provided in the learning environment that will enable them to learn each question and the specially prepared subject about the acquisition. The students who successfully completed four levels in the learning environment were given the final academic success test which is equivalent to the initial test. 52 students have successfully completed this system. While the average of the pre-test general success was 62,23 out of 100 points, the average of the overall test was 82,69 points. And 46 of the students had an increase in their success points (88,46%). As a result of the interpretation of the data obtained from the interface evaluation questionnaire and the interview form, it was concluded that the students had positive thoughts about the software developed.
