Yapılan bu tez çalışmasının amacı Manavgat Nehri Havzası sınırları içerisinde yapılan Manavgat Barajı'nın 1987, 1998 ve 2016 zaman periyotlarında havza sınırları içerisinde bitki örtüsü, arazi yüzey sıcaklık ve nemliliği üzerine etkilerinin mekânsal ve zamansal olarak Uzaktan Algılama (UA) ve Coğrafi Bilgi Sistemleri (CBS) teknikleri kullanılarak değerlendirilmesidir. Çalışma 30 metre mekânsal çözünürlüklü Landsat 5 TM ve Landsat 8 OLI-TIRS uydu görüntüleri kullanılarak üç farklı aşamada gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın ilk aşamasında havza alanına ait Arazi Yüzey Sıcaklık (AYS) değerleri uydu görüntülerinin Termal Kızılötesi (TIR) bantlarından görüntü işleme teknikleri kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Çalışmanın ikinci aşamasında ise havza alanına ait bitki dağılımları uydu görüntülerinin Yakın Kızıl Ötesi (YKÖ) ve Kırmızı (K) bantlarından Toprağa Ayarlı Bitki İndeksi (SAVI) yöntemi kullanılarak, diğer taraftan arazi yüzey nemliliği değerleri ise uydu görüntülerinin YKÖ ve Kısa Dalga Kızıl Ötesi (KDKÖ) bantlarından Normalize Edilmiş Nem Fark İndeksi (NFNI) yöntemi kullanılarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmanın son aşamasında ise elde edilen bitki örtüsü, arazi yüzey sıcaklığı ve yüzey nemlilik değerleri arasındaki ilişki istatistiksel olarak Getis-Ord Gi* (Sıcak Nokta Analizi) yöntemi kullanılarak test edilmiş ve zamansal ve mekânsal olarak Manavgat Nehri Havzası sınırları içerisinde bitki örtüsü, arazi yüzey sıcaklığı ve yüzey nemlilik değerlerinde meydana gelen değişim belirlenmiştir. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the spatial and temporal effects of Manavgat Dam on the vegetation, land surface temperature and humidity within the basin boundaries with the time periods of 1987, 1998 and 2016 by using Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) techniques. The study was carried out in three different stages using Landsat 5 TM and Landsat 8 OLI-TIRS satellite images with a spatial resolution of 30 meters. In the first stage of the study, Land Surface Temperature (LST) values of the basin area were obtained from Thermal Infrared (TIR) bands of satellite images by using image processing techniques. In the second stage of the study, vegetation distribution of the basin area extracted from the Near Infrared (NIR) and Red (R) bands of the satellite images by using the Soil Adjusted Vegetation Index (SAVI), on the other hand, land surface moisture values was obtained from the Near Infrared (NIR) and Short Wave Infrared (SWIR) bands of the satellite images by using Normalized Difference Moisture Index (NDMI). In the last stage of the study, the relationship among the obtained vegetation, land surface temperature and surface moisture values were statistically tested using Getis-Ord Gi * (Hot Spot Analysis) method. and the change in the vegetation cover, land surface temperature and land surface moisture values were determined.
