Ekonomik Üretim Miktarı modellerinde iki önemli soruya cevap aranmaktadır. Bunlar; ne zaman ve ne kadar miktarda üretim yapılacağı sorularıdır. Ekonomik Üretim Miktarı modelleri hala birçok endüstri için farklı varsayımlar altında araştırma güncelliğini ve önemini korumaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Klasik Ekonomik Üretim Miktarı modeli varsayımlarının bazıları gevşetilerek yeni bir model önerisi geliştirilmiştir. Ekonomik Üretim Miktarı modelinde temel varsayım üretilen ürünlerin %100 ünün kusursuz olması ve öğrenmenin göz ardı edilmesidir. Üretim süreçleri için bu varsayımlar her zaman geçerli değildir. Bu çalışmada; öğrenmenin gerçekleştiği ve kusurlu üretimin olduğu durumda, toplam maliyeti minimum yapan ekonomik üretim miktarı elde edilmiştir. Geliştirilen model için sayısal bir örnek verilmiş ve öğrenme oranı, öğrenme muhafaza oranı ve kusurlu oranındaki değişimlerin optimal çözüm sonuçları üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Economic Production Quantity models search two important questions which are how much and when have to produce. The research on Economic Production Quantity models is still important for many industries under different assumptions on Economic Production Quantity models. In this study, a new model proposal is developed by releasing some of the assumptions of classic economic production quantity model. The basic assumption in the Economic Production Quantity model is that 100% of the products produced are non-defective and learning is ignored. This assumption is not valid for production processes every time. In this study, the Economic Production Quantity that minimizes total cost is achieved under learning and defective production conditions. A numerical example is given and analyzed for the developed model and the changes were examined at the rate of defective item and learning. It is analyzed that the effect of defective product rate, learning rate, learning retention rate on optimal solution while some quantitative examples are given.
