Tasavvufî hayattaki farklılaşmalara ve gruplaşmalara tepki olarak ortaya çıkan, temel olarak riyâya ve kibre düşme tehlikesinden ötürü özellikle iyilikleri gizleme, kötülükleri açığa çıkarma, kınayanın kınamasına aldırış etmeme ve "daima nefsini kınama" gibi esaslara dayanan melâmet düşüncesi genel kabule göre; İlk, Orta ve Son olmak üzere üç döneme tasnif edilerek ele alınmıştır. İlk Dönem; kurucusu olduğu ifade edilen Hamdûn Kassâr'a (v. 271/884) atfen Kassârîlik, Orta Dönem; Emîr Sikkînî'nin (v. 880/1475) Hacı Bayrâm-ı Velî'nin (v. 833/1456) müridi olmasına binâen Bayrâmî Melâmîliği, çalışmanın temelini teşkil eden Son Dönem Melâmîliği ise kurucusu Muhammed Nûru'l-Arabî'ye (v. 1305/1887) atıfla Melâmiyye-i Nûriyye olarak da adlandırılmıştır. Muhammed Nûru'l-Arabî'nin özellikle İstanbul'da ve Balkanlar'da Melâmî irşât faaliyetlerini yürüten pek çok halifesi bulunmaktadır. Onun halifesi olarak bu faaliyetleri yürütenlerden biri de Ali Örfî'dir (v. 1305/1887). Bu bağlamda çalışma; Ali Örfî'nin hayatını, şahsiyetini, edebî kişiliğini ve vahdet-i vücûd eksenli kaleme aldığı eserlerini konu edinmektedir. Şârihliğinin ve şairliğinin biraz daha ortaya çıkmasına yardımcı olması adına transkribe metinleri de eklenen Şerh-i Sâlih Lütfî ve Dîvân-ı Ali Örfî adlı eserlerin şekil ve muhteva tahlilleri de bu konuların arasına dâhil edilmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı; çıkan ilmî veriler ve bulgular ışığında; kaynaklarda ya hiç olmayan ya da bazı hususlarda tespit edilen eksikliklerin tekmili, yanlışlıkların tenkidi ve tashihiyle hakkında fazla araştırma yapılmamış olan Ali Örfî'nin hayatı ve eserlerine dair bilgilerin güncellenmesidir. Ayrıca eserleri vasıtasıyla meydana çıkan şairliği, şârihliği, mütercimliği (müelliflik) yönüyle Son Dönem Melâmiliğine ve Türk Tasavvuf Edebiyatına yaptığı katkı bağlamında Örfî'nin bu gelenekteki yerinin ve öneminin tespit edilmesi de hedeflenmektedir. Çalışmanın önemi; tasavvufî ve edebî bağlamda Ali Örfî'ye, eserlerine ve eserlerinde yer alan konulara bakış açılarına dair biraz daha net ve spesifik bilgilerin ortaya çıkarılacak olmasından ileri gelmektedir. Türk İslam Edebiyatı alanına katkı sağlayacağı düşüncesiyle birlikte Ali Örfî'nin günümüz harflerine aktarılan iki eserinin gün yüzüne çıkarılıp bilim dünyasının istifadesine sunulacak olması, çalışmanın diğer önemli bir noktasını teşkil etmektedir. The idea of malamat, which emerges as a reaction to the differences and groupings in Sufi life, is mainly based on the principles such as concealing goodness, revealing evil, ignoring the condemnation of others and "condemning the self". According to the general assumption it is classified into three periods; First, middle and last. The first period; due to the founder of Hamdun Kassar (v. 271/884) is called Kassarism. Emir Sikkini (v. 880/1475) is a follower of Hacı Bayram Veli (v. 833/1456). Hence the middle period is called Bayrami Melâmism. The last period Melâmism which constitutes the basis of the work is called Melâmiyye-i Nuriyya with reference to its founder Muhammed Nuru al-Arabi (v. 1305/1887). Muhammed Nur al-Arabî has many caliphs, especially in Istanbul and the Balkans, who carry out Melâmî guidance activities. One of those who carried out these activities as his caliph was Ali Örfî (v. 1305/1887). In this context; Ali Örfî's life, personality, literary identity and works dicussed on the axis of waḥdat al-wujud (unity of existence). In order to allow a more understanding of his poetry and his interpretership talent, the analysis of form and content of Şerh-i Sâlih Lütfî and Dîvân-ı Ali Örfî were also added. Purpose of the study; in the light of the scientific data and findings; to express information about life and works of Ali Örfî which is almost nonexistent in the sources. In addition, the aim of this study is to eliminate the deficiencies identified in some issues, to criticize and to correct mistakes and to update the information about the life and works of Ali Örfî, which has not been studied much. In addition, it is aimed to determine the place and importance of Orfî in this tradition in terms of his contribution to the Late Melâmism and Turkish Sufi Literature in terms of his poetry, interpretership skills understood through his works. Importance of study; It is due to the fact that it will reveal some more clear and important information about Ali Örfî, his works and their points of view in the Sufi and literary context. Another important point of the study is that the two works of Ali Örfî, which are transferred to the present day letters, will be revealed and presented to the benefit of the scientific world with the thought that it will contribute to the field of Turkish-Islamic Literature.
