Halifelik, peygamberlikten sonra dinin korunması ve dünya işlerinin idaresinde onu temsil etme anlamına gelir. Halife şer'i hükümlerin uygulanmasında ümmetin vekilidir. Araştırmacı bu çalışmasının mukaddimesi, üç bâbı ve son sözü doğrultusunda İbn Hacer el Heytemi'nin halifelik anlayışı hakkındaki görüşlerini sunmuştur. Birinci kısımda İbn Hacer'in hayatı, dönemininin siyasi, toplumsal ve ilmi durumları yer almaktadır. Ayrıca hocaları, öğrencileri, yazdığı eserlerinden ve fıkhi, itikadi yol haritalarından kısaca bahsedilmiştir. İkinci bâbda ise halifeliğin anlamı zikredilir ve sonrasında İbn Hacer'in halifelik ve hükümlerinin maksatları hakkındaki görüşleri tartışılarak ele alınır ve halifeliğin gerçekleşmesi için şu üç yol gösterilir: Seçme (tercih), biat veya halifeliğe tayin edilmesi veya icbari. Ve aslında sonuncu yolun meşru olmadığı, bilakis bu yolun ümmetin kendi birliğini korumak ve dağılmamak için kabul ettiği yol olduğu belirtilmiştir. Ve buradan araştırmacı, Hz. Ebubekir'in (r.a) hilafette daha üstün, daha layık olduğunu ispat etme yoluna gitmiş ve İbn Hacer'in de bu konu hakkındaki görüşlerinden bahsetmiştir. Ve Ali İbn Ebu Talib'in (r.a) halifeliğini savunanların görüşlerini çürütülerek göstermiştir. Sonrasında İbn Hacer'in halifelik için koyduğu şartlar ve halk arasındaki alimlerin halife olmada koyduğu şartlar karşılaştırılarak bilgi verilmiştir. Şu şartlar gibi: Müslüman olması, sorumlu olması, akıllı olması, özgür, adil, erkek olması vb. Bu şartlar karşılaştırılarak bilgi verilmiş ve âlimlerin "kureyşli olma" şartında ihtilafları sınıflandırılmış, açıklanmıştır. Ve bundan sonra alimlerin toplumda birden çok halife olması üzerine sözleri delilleriyle beraber anlatılmıştır. Sonrasında halifenin halk üzerindeki hukukundan, halkın ona olan itaatinden, halifenin halka nasihat etme hakkından ve halkın ona karşı çıkamamazlığından bahsedilmiştir. Daha sonra araştırmacı, halifelikten azledilme ve ona karşı çıkma sebeplerinden olan dinden dönmesi, kafir olması, fasık olması ve halifeliğe daha layık aday olması gibi durumları ele alarak bu konular hakkında bilgi vermiştir. Ve sözün sonunda araştırmacının beyanı ile Hulefa-i Raşidin halifelerin sıralanışının daha uygun olduğundan ve Allah'ın da sıralanışı bu şekilde seçmesindeki delillerden bahsedilmiştir. Since the Imamate was considered as an alternative to the Prophecy in preservation of the religion and the actions of the life, and the Governor was the agent of the Ummah in the implementation of the provisions of Sharia, the researcher presented in this study the views of Ibn Hajar Al-Hitami in respect to the Great Imamate. This study consists of an introduction followed by two chapters and a conclusion. The first chapter takes up the issues of Ibn Hajar's life as well as the political, social and scientific status in that time. Besides, an overview of his elders, students and works is presented followed by the ideology that Ibn Hajar adopted regarding doctrine and belief. In the second chapter, the researcher mentioned the concept of the imamate. Then, he discussed, through investigation and discussion, the doctrine of Ibn Hajar regarding the purposes of the imamate and its rules which could be conducted through three main methods: Selection- allegiance, appointing a successor and oppression- domination. The researcher argued that the latter is against Sharia in which the Imamate is not achieved, however it is only possible in some emergency situations to maintain the Ummah unity and prevent it from dispersion. The researcher then moved to prove the priority of Abu Bakr and his eligibility of the Caliphate by viewing Ibn Hajar's opinion on this issue and refuting all the views of those who are arguing with the eligibility of Ali Bin Abi Talib of the Caliphate. Furthermore, the researcher discussed the conditions set by Ibn Hajar for the Imamate and comparing them with the majority of scholars in terms of the requirements which state that the Imam should be Muslim, responsible, sane, free, just, and male. Then, he detailed the scholars' controversy in regard to (Al-Qureshi) matter, this was followed by reasoning the scholars' argument in respect to multiple Imams issue. After that, the researcher mentioned the Imam rights that people have to maintain which are obedience, advisory and remaining under his banner. Then, he explained the situations in which the Governor might be dismissed under specific misconducts such as apostasy, blasphemy or lechery. Moreover, the situation of assigning the less III preferred in the event of existence the most preferred was discussed. Finally, the researcher illustrated the entitlement order of the Rightly Guided Caliphs of the Caliphate and the significance of this order that was chosen by Almighty God which was based on differentiation among them.
