Amaç: Diş yapısına, önceki çürükler, kırık veya kök kanal tedavisi tarafından zarar verilir ve zayıflatılır. İntrakoronal beyazlatma dişleri daha da zayıflar. Bu çalışmanın amacı, farklı restoratif yöntemlerin endodontik tedavili dişlerin kırılma direncini güçlendirme üzerine etkisini değerlendirmektir. Yöntemler: Yetmiş adet çekilmiş tek köklü premolar diş, her biri 10 örnek olmak üzere 7 gruba rasgele ayrıldı. Bir grup negatif kontrol olarak sağlam dişleri içerdi (Grup I). Altı deney grubu endodontik olarak tedavi edildi,% 35 hidrojen peroksit 3x7gün kullanılarak intrakoronal olarak beyazlatıldı ve CaOH2 ile nötroralize edildi. Standart MOD kavite preparasyonlarının ardından dişler sadece kompozit (Grup II), rijit fiber-Reforpost (Grup III), kanal içi esnek fiber-Everstick (Grup IV), kanal içi esnek pin fiberler-Dentapreg Pin (GrupV), tüberküller arası esnek fiber-Dentapreg SFU (GrupVI) veya kavite içi at nalı şeklinde- Dentapreg SFU (GrupVII) ile restore edildi. Tüm kaviteler mikro dolduruculu kompozit rezin-GC G-aenial Posterior A1 ile dolduruldu. Örnekler universal test cihazında kırılma direnci yüklemesine tabi tutuldu. Vertikal basma yüklemesi, örnekler kırılıncaya kadar 1 mm / dk sabit hızda uygulandı. Her bir örneğin kırılmasına neden olan ortalama yük (Newton) kaydedildi ve One-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) ve Duncan's Multiple Range testi ile istatistiksel olarak analiz yapıldı. Kırık tipleri kaydedildi ve kırık fragmanların sayısına ve bunların tamir edilebilirliğine göre sınıflandırıldı. Bulgular: Gruplar arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar vardır (p≤0.05). En yüksek kırılma direnci sağlam diş grubunda (GI, negatif kontrol) (1190.97 N) ve ikinci en yüksek kırılma direnci GVI (1138,78 N)'da görülmüş ve bu gruplar diğer gruplara göre istatistiksel olarak daha üstün bulunmuştur (p≤0.05). GV (942,45 N) hem bu iki grup hem de birbirinden fark göstermeyen, GIII (737,40 N), GIV (694,29 N) ile aynı düzeyde anlamlılık göstermiştir. GVII ise tüm gruplar arasında en düşük değere (542,78 N) sahiptir (p≤0,05). Tüm gruplarda çoğunlukla tamir edilebilir kırık tipleri ortaya çıkmıştır. Sonuçlar: Bu çalışmanın kısıtlamaları altında, tüberküller arasına yerleştirilen esnek fiberler; endodontik olarak tedavili ve beyazlatılmış dişlerde, kanal içi esnek ve rijit fiberlerden önemli ölçüde daha iyi güçlendirme etkisi göstermiştir.

Aim: Tooth structure has been undermined and weakened by all of the previous episodes of caries, fracture, or root canal therapy.Intracoronal bleaching further weakens the teeth. The aim of this study was to evaluate the strengthening effect of different restorative procedures by measuring the compressive strength of endodontically treated and intracoronally bleached teeth. Methods: Seventy exracted single-rooted premolar teeth were randomly distributed into 7 groups each with 10 samples. One group included the intact teeth as negative control (Group I). The six test groups were treated endodontically, bleached intracoronally using 35% hydrogenperoxide 3x7days and neutroralized with CaOH2. Following the standard MOD cavity preparations, the teeth were restored with only composite (Group II), a rigid fiber-Reforpost (Group III), an intracanal flexible fiber-Everstick (Group IV), intracanal flexible pin fibers-Dentapreg Pin (GroupV), an intercuspal flexible fiber-Dentapreg SFU (GroupVI) or an intracoronal horseshoe-shaped- Dentapreg SFU (GroupVII). All cavities were filled with a microfilled resin composite-GC G-aenial Posterior A1. The specimens were submitted to fracture resistance loading in a universal testing machine. Vertical compressive loading was applied under constant speed of 1 mm/min to the specimens until fracture. Mean load to fracture was recorded (Newton) for each sample and analyzed statistically using One-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and Duncan's Multiple Range test. Fracture types were recorded and classified according to the number of broken fragments and their repairability. Results: There were statistically significant differences among the groups (p≤0.05). The intact teeth (GroupI, negative control) showed the highest fracture strength (1190,97 N), and GroupVI (1138,78 N) the second highest fracture resistance, which were statistically superior than the other groups (p≤0.05). GroupV (942,45 N) showed two significance levels, similar to these and to GIII (737,40 N), Group IV (694,29 N). GroupVII (542,78 N),which were not significantly different from each other (p≥0.05). The mean value of GroupVII (542,78 N) was the lowest among all groups (p≤0.05). Mostly, repairable fracture patterns occured in all groups. Conclusions: Under the limitations of this study flexible fibers placed intercuspally have shown significantly better strenghtening effect than those of the intracanal flexible and rigid fibers in endodontically treated and bleached teeth.
