Bu çalışmada Türkiye'deki bir mekanize yer altı kömür ocağında uygulanan söküm çalışmalarının sonuçları araştırılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçların Türkiye yer altı madencilik literatüründe yer alması, irdelenmesi, kayda geçmesi ve ilerideki mekanize ayak söküm çalışmalarına ışık tutması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın konusu, yeraltı madenciliğinde uygulanan mekanize ayak uygulamalarının söküm aşamasındaki çalışmalardır. Çalışmanın kapsamı özelde, Türkiye'de önemli bir kömür havzası olan Soma kömür havzasındaki Eynez kömür ocağında var olan mekanize ayak, genelde ise mekanize ayak ile çalışılan tüm yer altı kömür ocaklarıdır. Yer altı kömür madenciliği, bilinen en zahmetli ve iş güvenliği açısından en riskli iş sektörüdür. Yeraltı kömür ocaklarında hem üretimi yüksek tutmak ve verimliliği artırmak, hem de iş güvenliği risklerini azaltmak için en akılcı yol tam mekanize ayaklar ile üretim yapılmasıdır. Mekanize ayakların oluşturulması kazı-tahkimat-nakliyat işlemlerinin beden gücü ile değil, makine ile yapılmasını sağlamaktadır. Mekanize çalışma ile üretim artırılabilmekte, işçilik masrafları düşürülebilmekte, randıman artmakta, diğer taraftan ise iş kazaları minimize edilebilmektedir. Ancak mekanize ayaklar ile çalışmada iki önemli sorun ortaya çıkmaktadır: İlk yatırım maliyetlerinin yüksekliği ve montaj-söküm çalışmalarının güçlüğü. Mekanize ayaklarda kullanılan kazı makineleri, yürüyen tahkimat üniteleri, nakliyat aracı ve yardımcı ekipmanlar önemli miktarlarda ilk yatırım maliyetlerini gerektirmektedir. Panoların sökümü, üretim yapılan bölgede kömürün bitmesine yakın durumda ayağın mekanik donanımının (yürüyen tahkimat, zincirli konveyör, kesici yükleyici makine vb.) sökülerek karoya taşınması işidir. Tam mekanize ayaklarda ayağın söküm işlemi operasyonun önemli bir aşamasını oluşturmaktadır. Bu tez çalışmasında Soma - Eynez kömür ocağındaki mekanize ayağın söküm aşamasında uygulanan "Telleme yöntemi" nin performansı incelenmiştir. In this study, the results of face moving works investigated in a mechanized underground coal mine in Turkey. It was aimed that the gathered results should take place and be recorded in the literature of underground mining and shed the light on the longwall face moving in the future. The subject of the work is the operations of face moving the mechanized longwalls, used in the underground mining. The scope of the study is the mechanized longwall, which is in Eynez coal mine in the coalfield of Soma - one of the most important coalfields of Turkey - in particular, and all of the underground mines operating with a mechanized longwall, in general. Underground coal mining is known to be the most difficult and risky operations industry in terms of work safety. In order to both keep the production high and increase the productivity, and decrease the risks of work safety in the underground mines, the most rational method is to produce with full mechanized longwalls. The assembly of the mechanized longwalls allows the excavation-fortification-transportation works to be done by machines, instead of manpower. With the mechanized longwalls, production can increase, labor costs can decrease, and efficiency can increase, on the other hand work accidents can be minimized. Nevertheless, two different problems occur in working with mechanized longwalls: the first one is the highness of the investment costs and the difficulty of face moving works. Shoorers used in the mechanized longwalls, walking fortification units, transportation vehicle and auxiliary equipment require initial investment costs at significant amounts. Face moving of the panels is the work of carrying the longwall's mechanical equipment (walking fortification, chain conveyor, shearer loader machine etc.) to the tile by means of face moving them when it is close to the end of coal in the production area. In this thesis study, the performance of the "Wire method" used in the assembly stage of the mechanized longwall in the Soma-Eynez coal mine.
