Doğal halde bulunan kayaçların mineralojisinin, kayaçların dayanımlarına etkisi uzun zamandır araştırılan bir konu olmuştur. Kayaçlarda dayanım ise kayaçların kesilebilirlik özelliklerini etkileyen en önemli faktördür. Tüm bunları ele alarak araştırmalar yapan bilim insanları, kayaçların fiziksel ve mekanik özellikleri ile mineralojisi arasında bir ilişki olduğunu öne sürmüşlerdir. Bu nedenle kayaçların mineralojisiyle, fiziksel ve mekanik özellikler arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koyabilmek adına kayaçların mineralojik dokusunu sayısallaştırmayı mümkün kılarak bir parametre önermişlerdir. Bu parametre doku katsayısı (TC) olup, kayaç oluşturan mineraller ve kayaç içerisinde bulunma durumlarına dair bazı hesaplamalarla elde edilmektedir. Bu çalışmada doku katsayısı parametresi ile dairesel testerelerin kesim esnasında kullandıkları özgül kesme enerjisi (spesifik enerji) arasındaki ilişkiler araştırılmıştır. Afyon ve Isparta illerine ait formasyonlar da baskın olarak bulunan 7 farklı kayaç türüne ait toplam 41 numune kullanılarak kayaçların spesifik enerjilerine olumlu ya da olumsuz olarak etki edebilecek fiziksel ve mekanik özellikleri ile dokusal özellikleri deneylerle tespit edilerek ilişkileri araştırılmıştır. Buna bağlı olarak çıkan sonuçlar doğrultusunda kayaçların kesim parametrelerinden olan spesifik enerji üzerinde doku katsayısı değerinin etkileri gözlemlenmiş olup, ilişkilere dair tüm veri ve analizlere çalışmada yer verilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda spesifik enerji ile doku katsayısı arasında bir ilişkinin var olduğu ortaya konmuştur. Ayrıca yuvarlaklık ile fenokristallerin öz şekilli, yarı öz şekilli, geometrik şekilli, köşeli, büyük veya çok büyük olmalarının doku katsayısı ve kayaç dayanımı önemli derecede etkilediği, kayaç ve taneler arası matriks içerisindeki mikrolitik tanelerin varlığının kayaç dayanımını yükselttiği bulunmuştur.
The effect of mineralogy of natural rocks on the strength of rocks has been investigated for a long time. The strength in the rocks is the most important factor affecting the cuttability properties of the rocks. Scientists who have studied all these things have suggested that there is a relationship between the physical and mechanical properties of rocks and mineralogy. For this reason, in order to be able to reveal the relation between mineralogy of rocks and physical and mechanical properties, they have proposed a parameter by making it possible to quantify mineralogical texture of rocks. This parameter is the texture coefficient (TC) and it is obtained by some calculations about the presence of rock-forming minerals and rocks. In this study, the relationship between the tissue coefficient parameter and the specific shear energy (specific energy) used by the circular saws during cutting was investigated. Afyon and Isparta formations were used to determine the physical and mechanical properties and textural properties of the rocks, which were positively or negatively influenced by the specific energies of the rocks, by using 41 samples belonging to 7 different rocks and their relationships were investigated. As a result, the effect of the value of the texture coefficient on the specific energy of the rock cutting parameters was observed in the direction of the results, and all the data and analyzes related to them were included in the study. At the end of the study, it was revealed that there is a relation between specific energy and tissue coefficient. Also, round, phenocrysts with self-shaped, semi-self-shaped, geometric shape, angular, large or very large grain, texture coefficient and rock resistance significantly affect, it has been found that the presence of microlytic grains in rock and intergranular matrix increases rock strength.
