Yapılan tezin ana amacı, sentetik hidrolik çatlatma atıksuyundan membran prosesleri ile bor gideriminin araştırılmasıdır. Laboratuvar ölçekli, çapraz akışlı, düz tabakalı membran test ünitesi kullanılarak borun uzaklaştırılması üzerine basınç, pH, besleme konsantrasyonu ve membran türünün etkisi tespit edilmiştir. Deneyler kapsamında birer adet nanofiltrasyon ve ters osmoz membranı test edilmiştir. Buna göre basınç ve pH'ın artmasıyla bor gideriminin arttığı, besleme bor konsantrasyonunun artmasıyla NF membranında bor gideriminin arttığı ancak TO membranda artışın orijinal pH'ta gerçekleştiği tespit edilmiştir. Tüm bu değişkenlerin etkisi altında ortalama %50'si giderilen borun, daha yüksek seviyede giderilmesi için membran deneylerinde kompleksleştirici poliol kullanılmıştır. Borik asit ile en verimli kompleks oluşturan poliollerden biri olan ksilitol, sentetik hidrolik çatlatma atıksuyuna belirli molar oranlarda ilave edilmiştir. Poliol ilavesi ile NF ve TO membranlarında >%80 bor giderimi kaydedilmiştir. İki membran türünde de bor giderimi poliol ve bor arasındaki molar oran ile ilişkilendirilmiştir. Membran arıtımı sonrası elde edilen yüksek kalitedeki süzüntü suyu hidrolik çatlatma sıvısı olarak yeniden kullanılabilir. The main purpose of this thesis is to investigate the removal of boron by the processes of the membrane from the synthetic hydraulic fracturing wastewater. The effect of pressure, pH, feed concentration and membrane type on the removal of boron using a laboratory scale, cross flow, flat layer membrane test unit were determined. One nanofiltration and one reverse osmosis membrane were tested. Accordingly, boron removal increased with increasing pressure and pH, increased boron concentration increased boron removal in the NF membrane, but increased the increase in the membrane membrane was found at the original pH. The complexing polyol was used in membrane experiments to remove the average 50% of the boron removed under the influence of all these variables. Xylitol, one of the polyols that form the most efficient complex with boric acid, was added to the synthetic hydraulic fracturing wastewater in certain molar ratios. Boron removal> 80% was recorded in NF and TO membranes by addition of polyol. Boron removal in two membrane types is associated with the molar ratio between polyol and boron.
