Bu çalışmada, ortamda bulunan kaynaklardan yayılan Radyo Frekansı (RF) sinyallerin gücünü dönüştürerek doğru akım ve gerilim (DC) elde eden devreler tasarlanmış ve üretilmiştir. Bu amaçla tek bant, çift bant ve geniş bant enerji hasatlama (EH) çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Enerji hasatlama devrelerini istenilen frekanslarda çalıştırmak için, devrelerin girişlerine empedans uyumlandırma teknikleri uygulanmıştır. Doğrultucu olarak literatürdeki en çok kullanılan enerji hasatlama devrelerinden olan Dickson ve Greinacher devreleri kullanılmıştır. Bu devreler üzerinde farklı empedans uyumlandırma teknikleri kullanılarak istenilen tek bant, çift bant ve ultra geniş bant (UGB) frekans aralıklarında çalışması sağlanmıştır. İlk olarak 1,0 GHz frekansında çalışan Dickson doğrultucu devrenin girişine, toplu elemanlarla empedans uyumlandırma tekniği (L Uyumlandırma) uygulanarak 0,54 GHz'de çalışması sağlamıştır. Ardından, Dickson doğrultucu devresine Tek Saplama uyumlandırma tekniği uygulanarak 0,54 GHz frekansında enerji hasatlama yapabilmesine çalışılmıştır. Tasarlanan devrelerin -30 dBm'den +20 dBm'e kadar değişen giriş güçlerine karşılık çıkış gerilimi, güç dönüştürme verimi (GDV) analizi yapılmıştır. Bu tasarımda GDV yaklaşık % 73 olarak ölçülmüştür. Tespit edilen en yüksek çıkış veriminin elde edildiği güç değeri için, devrenin yük direnci parametrik olarak analiz edilmiş ve en uygun tasarım parametreleri belirlenmiştir. Daha sonra, literatürde örnekleri bulunan temel Greinacher doğrultucu devre tasarlanmış ve bu devrenin çift bantlı EH uygulamaları gerçekleştirilmiştir. Temel Greinacher doğrultma devresi 2,45 GHz frekansında çalışmaktadır. Greinacher devre yapısı değiştirilerek giriş kollarına, uzunlukları ve açıları birbirinden farklı iki adet radyal saplama yerleştirilmiştir. Çift bantlı ve tek girişli olarak tasarlanan devrelerden birincisi 1,8 ve 2,4 GHz frekanslarında çalışmaktadır. Bu frekanslardaki en yüksek GDV değeri benzetim ortamında; sırasıyla % 64 ve % 58 olarak tespit edilmiştir. İkinci devre ise 0,9 ve 2,95 GHz frekanslarında çalışmaktadır. Yine bu frekanslarda maksimum GDV % 46 ve % 28 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Geniş bant EH devresinde kullanmak üzere kullanılmak üzere bir Wilkinson güç bölücü devre (WGB) tasarlanmıştır. Geniş bantlı çalışabilmesi için, WGB'nin iki koluna da üç katmanlı Chebyshev empedans uyumlandırma tekniği uygulanmıştır. Merkez frekansı 2,2 GHz olarak tasarlanan güç bölme devresinin; yansıma, iletim ve izolasyon parametreleri birlikte değerlendirilmiştir. WGB devresi 0,4-3,4 GHz aralığında çalışmaktadır ve 3,0 GHz bant genişliğine sahiptir. Tasarlanan ultra geniş bantlı Wilkinson güç bölücü devresinin tersinir çalışabilme özelliğinden faydalanılmıştır. WGB devresi, iki farklı koldan gelen RF gücü toplayarak birleştiren ve tek bir çıkış koluna aktaran Wilkinson güç birleştirme devresi (WGT) olarak kullanılmıştır. Bu devrenin tek çıkış kapısına Greinacher doğrultma devresine uygulanmıştır. Böylelikle farklı RF güçler, tek bir doğrultucu devre yardımıyla DC akım ve gerilime dönüştürülebilmektedir. Yeni oluşan devreye, WGT-Greinacher EH Devresi adı verilmiştir. WGT–Greinacher devresi, geri dönüş kaybı ve izolasyon katsayısının -10 dB'nin altına indiği üç farklı bantta çalışmaktadır. Bunlar 0,4-0,81 GHz, 1,54-1,84 GHz ve 2,2-2,89 GHz aralıklarıdır. Bu haliyle UGB bir EH devresi olduğu değerlendirilmiştir. Tasarlanan WGT-Greinacher devresinin UGB olarak enerji hasatlayabildiğini göstermek amacıyla 〖RF〗_in1 ve 〖RF〗_in2 girişlerine, çalıştığı frekans bantlarındaki seçilen frekanslarda sinyaller uygulanmıştır. Uygulanan sinyal çiftleri; 540-2700 MHz, 540-2450 MHz, 540-1800 MHz ile 800-2700 MHz, 800-2450 MHz, 800-1800 MHz biçimindedir. Tüm giriş frekanslarında -30'dan +20 dBm'e kadar giriş gücü değerleri için çıkış gerilimi ölçümü ve güç dönüştürme verimi hesabı yapılmıştır. Ayrıca en yüksek verimin elde edildiği giriş gücü değeri için yük direncinin parametrik analizi yapılmıştır. Sonuçta, iki girişli WGT-Greinacher devresinde en iyi şartlarda, en yüksek 70,5 GDV ve 1,65 V çıkış gerilimi elde edilmiştir. Tüm enerji hasatlama devrelerinin GDV, çıkış gerilimi ve yük direnci analizleri ve UGB Wilkinson güç bölücü devre tasarımının bant genişliği literatürdeki benzer çalışmalar ile karşılaştırılmıştır. In this study, the circuits that produce direct current and voltage (DC) by converting the power of the Radio Frequency (RF) signals radiated from the sources are designed and manufactured. For this purpose, single band, double band and ultra-wide band energy harvesting (EH) studies were performed. In order to operate the energy harvesting circuits at the desired frequencies, impedance matching techniques have been applied before the rectifier circuits. Dickson and Greinacher circuits, one of the most widely used energy harvesting circuits in the literature, were used. It is provided to operate on the desired single band, dual band and ultra-wide band (UWB) frequency ranges using different impedance matching techniques on these circuits. First, lumped impedance matching technique (L Matching) was applied to the input of the Dickson rectifier circuit operating at 1.0 GHz frequency. And it worked at 0.54 GHz. Then, a Single Stud Matching technique was applied to the Dickson rectifier circuit due to the energy harvesting at a frequency of 0.54 GHz was performed. The output voltage, power conversion efficiency (PCE) analysis was performed for input circuits ranging from -30 dBm to +20 dBm. In this design, PCE was measured at about 73%. The load resistance was analyzed parametrically for the power value at which the highest output efficiency was determined. And the most appropriate design parameters are determined. In the literature, a rectifier circuit which is the Basic Greinacher circuit was designed and dual band EH applications were performed. Basic Greinacher the rectification circuit is working at 2.45 GHz frequency. By changing the Greinacher circuit structure, two radial stubs are placed on the input arms, different lengths and angles. The first of the circuits designed as double-band and single-input operates at frequencies of 1.8 and 2.4 GHz. The highest PCE values were simulated at 64% and 58%, respectively. The second circuit operates at 0.9 and 2.95 GHz frequencies. Again at these frequencies, the maximum PCE was calculated as 46% and 28%. A Wilkinson power divider circuit (WPD) is designed for use in the broadband EH circuit. In order to the broadband operation, three layers of Chebyshev impedance matching technique were applied to both branches of WPD. It is determined that the power divider circuit designed as 2.2 GHz at the center frequency works in the 0.4-3.4 GHz range when the reflection, transmission and isolation parameters are evaluated together. And the circuit has a bandwidth of 3.0 GHz. The designed (UWB) Wilkinson power divider circuit has the ability to work reversibly (duality). The Wilkinson power combiner circuit (WPC), which collects and transfers RF power from two different branches to a single output arm, is applied to the Greinacher rectifier circuit. Thus, different RF powers, DC current and voltage can be obtained by means of a single rectifier circuit. The newly formed circuit is called the WPC-Greinacher EH Circuit. The WPC-Greinacher circuit operates on three different bands, with return loss and isolation down to -10 dB. These are 0.4-0.81 GHz, 1.54-1.84 GHz and 2.2-2.89 GHz. In this state, the UWB is thought to be an EH circuit. In order to show that the designed WPC-Greinacher circuit can harvest energy as UWB, the 〖RF〗_in1 and 〖RF〗_in2 are signaled at the selected frequencies in the frequency bands in which it operates. The input gates of the two input WPC-Greinacher circuits were implemented by selecting frequency pairs of 540-2700 MHz, 540-2450 MHz, 540-1800 MHz and 800-2700 MHz, 800-2450 MHz, 800-1800 MHz. Output voltage measurement and power conversion efficiency were calculated for input power values from -30 dBm to +20 dBm at all input frequencies. In addition, the parametrical analysis of the load resistance was performed for the input power value where the highest efficiency was obtained. As a result, in the best conditions of the two input WPC Greinacher circuit, the highest 70.5% PCE and 1.65 V output voltage were obtained. The PCE, output voltage and load resistance analyzes of all designed energy harvesting circuits and the bandwidth of the UWB Wilkinson power divider circuit design are compared with the previous similar studies in the literature. Their originality and superiority are detailed.
