Araştırma sahası, Akarçay, Aksu Çayı ve Beyşehir-Suğla Gölleri Havzaları olmak üzere 3 havza esas alınarak incelenmiştir. Araştırma konusu olan Kasnak Meşesi'nin Fiziki Coğrafya Faktörleri ile ilişkisine değinilen bu tezde, Coğrafi Bilgi Sistemleri programı metodolojileri aracılığıyla, Fiziki Coğrafya faktörlerinden, Jeoloji, Jeomorfoloji, İklim, Hidrografya, Toprak, Bitki Örtüsü ve Biyotik faktörlerin her biri ayrı ayrı bölümlerde ele alınarak Kasnak Meşesi'nin yetişme sahalarının özellikleri tespit edilmiş ve Kasnak Meşesi ile olan ilişkilerine değinilmiştir. Ortaya çıkan sonuçlar şunlardır: Kasnak Meşesi ile Jeoloji ilişkisinde; Kasnak Meşesi'nin kireçtaşı, volkanik kayaçlar ve kireçtaşı ile kırıntıların birlikte olduğu sahalarda daha çok geliştiği tespit edilmiştir. Kasnak Meşesi ile Jeomorfoloji ilişkisinde; Kasnak Meşesi'nin 1500-1800 metreler arasında, vadilerin orta yamaçları ile dolinlerde daha iyi geliştiği tespit edilmiştir. Kasnak Meşesi ile İklim ilişkisinde; Kasnak Meşesi'nin 8.5-9.50C sıcaklıklar arası, 850-950 mm yağışlar arası ve orta dereceli nemli ortamları daha çok tercih ettiği tespit edilmiştir. Kasnak Meşesi ile Hidrografya ilişkisinde; Kasnak Meşesi'nin göllere bakan yamaçları ve göl etkisinin olduğu yerleri, su kaynakları ve bu kaynaklardan çıkan yüzeysel akışın sürdüğü yerleri daha çok tercih ettiği tespit edilmiştir. Kasnak Meşesi ile Toprak ilişkisinde; Kasnak Meşesi'nin anakayası kireçtaşı, volkanik ile kireçtaşı-kırıntı olan ve taş oranı düşük ve besin maddeleri açısından zengin topraklarda daha çok geliştiği tespit edilmiştir. Kasnak Meşesi ile Bitki Örtüsü ilişkisinde; Kasnak Meşesi'nin orta sıcaklıklar, ışık isteği fazla olmayan, yarı gölgeli ve suya fazla ihtiyaç duymayan ağaç türleriyle daha çok aynı ortamda bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu sonuçlarla Kasnak Meşesi'nin dağılışı üzerinde etkili olan Fiziki Coğrafya Faktörleri tespit edilmiş ve temel amacına ulaşılmıştır. The research area was investigated on the basis of 3 basins: Akarçay, Aksu Stream and Beyşehir-Suğla Lakes Basins. In this thesis, the relation of Kasnak Oak, which is the subject of research, each of the Physical Geography factors; Geology, Geomorphology, Climate, Hydrography, Soil, Vegetation and Biotic factors were handled in separate sections and the characteristics of the Kasnak Oak growing areas were determined and their relations with the Kasnak Oak were mentioned by the methodologies of the Geographic Information Systems program. The results obtained are: In the relationship between Kasnak Oak and Geology; Kasnak Oak has been found to more develop in the areas where limestone, volcanic rocks and limestone and cuttings are together. In the relationship between Kasnak Oak and Geomorphology; It has found that the Kasnak Oak developed better the middle slopes of the valleys, dolines and between 1500-1800 meters. In the relationship between Kasnak Oak and Climate; It has been found that the Kasnak Oak was more preferred between 8.5-9.50C temperatures, 850-950 mm precipitation and moderate humidity environments. In the relationship between Kasnak Oak and Hydrography; It has found that the Kasnak Oak more preferred the slopes facing the lakes and the places where the effect of the lake, water resources and the surface flow coming out of these sources continued. In the relationship between Kasnak Oak and Soil; It has been found that the Kasnak Oak is more developed in soils which are the bedrock of limestone, volcanic and limestone-cutting and have a low rate of stone and rich in nutrients. In the relationship between Kasnak Oak and Vegetation; It has been found that the Kasnak Oak is located in the same environment with the tree species that are wanting moderate temperatures, semi-shaded and do not require much light and water. According to these results, Physical Geography Factors which have an effect on the distribution of Kasnak Oak have been determined and its main objective has been reached.
