Dinin aslî unsurlarından olan ibâdetler, Allah Teâlâ'ya iman edip Müslüman olan herkesin yerine getirmesi gereken kural ve emirlerdir. İbadetlerde mükellef olma konusu; ibâdetin mahiyeti ve amacına, bir ibâdeti yerine getirmesi istenen kimsenin güç, imkân ve sorumluluklarına göre sınıflandırılmıştır. Mükellefin bir ibâdeti yaparken ona vücûbiyet yüklenmesi, vücûbiyeti yerine getirirken yapılan ibâdetin sıhhati ve edâ edilişi konularındaki fıkıh ulemasının ihtilafları, söz konusu sınıflandırmanın sebeplerindendir. Ayrıca bu sınıfları teşkil eden vücûb şartları, sıhhat şartları, edâ şartları hususunda mezhepler açısından ibâdetler bağlamında bazı ayrımlar söz konusudur. Sözgelimi, Hac ibâdetinde "sağlıklı olmak" şartı Ebû Hanîfe ve İmam Mâlik'e göre vücûb; Ebû Yusuf, İmam Muhammed, İmam Şâfiî, Ahmet b. Hanbel'e göre ise haccın edâsının şartıdır. Bu konuda ihtilafın meydana gelmesine; mezhep imamlarının ibâdetlerin vakti konusunda, kavramlara yükledikleri anlamlar ve kabul ettikleri delillerin farklı olması gibi etkenler sebep olmuştur. The prayers which are essential elements of the religion, are rules and commands that everybody who believes in Allah has to perform. The subject of being obliged with prayers is classified according to the prayers nature, its purpose, the capability, possibility and responsibility of the person obliged with this prayers. Disagreements of jurisprudence scholars about the correctness and manner of prayers are reasonable for this classification. Separately from this, some distinctions in context of prayers in terms of doctrines concerning the classification of expressional, correctness and obligational conditions, are under consideration. For example, the "being healthy" condition during the pilgrimage is an obligational condition according to Abu Hanifa and Imam Mâlik; and is according to Abu Yusuf, Imam Muhammed, Imam Shafii and Ahmed b. Hanbel an expressional condition. And factors like the diversity between the meanings that doctrine scholars have been ascribed on the time of the prayer and some concepts, and the diversity between accepted evidences are reasonable to this dissimilarity.
