Menâkıbnâmeler, millî kültürümüzü ve dinî unsurları anlatan eserlerdir. İçerisinde ahlâki, dinî ve kültürel unsurlar bulunmaktadır. Menâkıbnâme türlerinden olan evliyâ menkıbelerinde bu unsurlar daha yoğun işlenmektedir. Bu çalışma, evliyâ menkıbeleri arasında yer alan Şeyh Mehmed Çelebi ve Şeyh Burhâneddin Çelebi Menâkıbı'nın günümüz Türkçesine aktarılması ile menâkıbda geçen bazı tasavvuf terimlerinin açıklanmasından oluşmaktadır. Menâkıb'ın başında Eğirdir Zeyniyye Zâviyesi'nin ilk şeyhi Şeyhülislâm Berdeî hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Şeyhülislâm Berdeî, Azerbaycan'ın Berde şehrinden Eğirdir'e yerleşmiş Türk dervîşlerindendir. Onun vefatından sonra yerine postnişînliğe damadı Pîr Muhammed el-Hoyî geçmiştir. Pîr Muhammed'in, Zeynüddin Hâfî'nin halîfelerinden Abdullatîf Kudsî'ye bağlanmasıyla zâviyede Zeyniyye Tarîkatı usûlü benimsenmiştir. Pîr Muhammed'den sonra zâviyede Şeyh Mehmed Çelebi, Şeyh Burhâneddin Çelebi ve Ahmed Efendi şeyhlik yapmıştır. Zâviyede postnişînlik, vakfiye şartlarına bağlı olarak babadan oğula geçmiştir. Ehl-i sünnet inancına sahip olan Zeyniyye şeyhleri, Eğirdir ve çevresinde, tarîkat usûlüne uygun bir şekilde zikir ve sohbetlerini icrâ etmişlerdir. Eğirdir Zeynî Zâviyesi, Şeyh Mehmed Çelebi ve Şeyh Burhâneddin Çelebi dönemlerinde şöhretin zirvesine çıkmıştır. Devlet adamlarıyla olan irtibat ve bu döneme ait bilgiler menkıbelerde yer almaktadır. Menâkıbda tarihî bilgilerin yanı sıra zâviyede görev yapan şeyhlerin hayatları hakkında bilgi verilmiş, kerâmetleri anlatılmıştır. Kerâmetlerde, ricâlullahla bir arada olmak, Hızır'la görüşmek, tayy-i mekân ve tayy-i zaman, su üstünde yürümek, zor durumda olana yardımcı olmak, aynı anda farklı yerlerde olmak, Allah dostlarını gücendirenlerin Allah tarafından cezalandırılması gibi unsurlar bulunmaktadır. Epics are the works which tell our national and religious culture. They include moral, religious and social elements. These elements are handled more intensely in saint epics that is a kind of epic, This study is comprised of the explanation of some İslâmic terminology which exists in the epics of Sheikh Mehmed Chelebi and Sheikh Burhaneddin Chelebi by translating into modern Turkısh. At the beginning of the epic, some information about Shaik al-İslâm Berdeî, the first sheikh of Eğirdir Zeyniyye convent, is given. Shaik al-İslâm Berdeî is one of the Turkish dervishes who came from Berde that is a city in Azerbeijan and settled in Eğirdir. After his death, his son-in-law Pir Muhammed el-Hoyi became the sheikh. After Pir Muhammed was committed to Abdullatîf Kudsî, one of the caliphs of Zeynüddin Hâfî, style of Zeyniyye sect was adopted in the convent. After Pîr Muhammed, Sheikh Mehmed Chelebi, Sheikh Burhâneddin Chelebi and Ahmed Efendi became the sheikh of the convent. In the convent, the position of postnish was transmitted from father to son depending on the foundation principles. The Zeyniyye sheikhs who have the belief of the follwers of ahl al-sunnah, carried out their speeches and invocations properly according to the principles of the sect in Eğirdir and around it. Eğirdir Zeynî convent reached the peak of its fame during the reign of Sheikh Mehmed Chelebi and Sheikh Burhâneddin Chelebi. The ties with politicians and the informations belonging to that era exist in the epics. In the epics, not only the historic information but also some data about the lives of the sheikhs and working at the convent were given and their miracles were told. In miracles, there are some issues such as being together with the men of God, meeting Hızır, bilocation, walking on water, heping someone in need, being in different places at the same time and God's punishment a man who hurts men of God.
