TV dizileri ve filmlerin ülkenin turistik değerlerinin pazarlanabilmesi için talebi artıran önemli bir faktör olduğu düşünülmektedir. Bu sebeple TV dizileri ve filmlerin ülkenin turistik talebine etkileri olup olmadığı araştırılmaktadır. Uluslararası rekabet koşullarının artması, ülkeleri ve firmaları farklı pazarlama yöntemleri kullanmaya ve içinde bulundukları ülkenin imajı üzerinde çalışmaya zorlamaktadır. Turistlerin isteklerini önceden bilmek, tutum ve davranışları hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak, turizm talebini arttırmada önemli rol oynamaktadır. Bu doğrultuda çalışmanın amacı, turizm sektörünün Türkiye ekonomisindeki etkilerini ve ayrıca Türk TV dizisi ve filmlerinin turizm sektörüne etkilerini tespit etmek ve değerlendirmektir. Ayrıca, turizm sektörünün tarihi gelişimi; turizm sektörünün Türkiye ekonomisine etkisi ve Türk dizileri ve filmlerinin kültürel turizm programları çerçevesinde turizm sektörüne katkısı tartışılmaktadır. Bu bağlamda çalışmada, Antalya'da turistlerle yüz yüze görüşme ve anketler kullanılarak elde edilen bulgular ve SPSS 23 programı ile ki-kare testi uygulanarak incelenmektedir. Araştırmaya katılan turistlere araştırmanın amaçları çerçevesinde veri toplamak için anket uygulaması yapılmış olup; araştırmanın evrenini 2018 yılı Antalya'ya gelen turistler teşkil etmektedir. Evrenden örneklem seçim yöntemi ile seçilen 384 kişi araştırmanın örneklemini teşkil etmektedir. Sözkonusu ankette gelen turistlerin demografik özelliklerine yönelik sorulara ve gelen turistlerin destinasyon hakkında fikirleri ve Türk dizi filmlerine yerleştirilmiş olan destinasyonların tercihlerini etkileyip etkilemediği konusunda sorular bulunmaktadır. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre, Türk dizileri ve filmleri, Türkiye ekonomisinde turizm sektörü üzerinde olumlu bir etkiye sahiptir. Bu nedenle, küreselleşen dünyada ülkelerin ekonomik ve sosyal gelişiminde önemli bir yere sahip olan TV dizileri ve film turizmi üzerine yapılan bu çalışma ile hem turizmin başarı düzeyi hem de ulusal/bölgesel kalkınma üzerindeki etkileri açısından da önem taşımakta olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmaktadır. TV series and films are thought to be an important factor in increasing demand for the marketing of the country's touristic values. Therefore, it is seen that series and films increase the country's tourist demand. Increasing conditions of international competition force countries and firms to use different marketing techniques and to work on the image of the country in which they exist. Knowing the wishes of tourists in advance and having information about their attitudes and behaviors play an important role in increasing the demand for tourism. The aim of this study is to determine and evaluate the effects of tourism sector in the Turkish economy and also the effects of Turkish TV series and films on tourism sector. Furthermore, the historical development of tourism sector; the effects of tourism sector on the Turkish economy and the contribution of Turkish TV series and films to the tourism sector under the cultural tourism schemes are discussed. In this study, the findings obtained by using face-to-face interviews and questionnaires with tourists in Antalya and are analysed chi-square test by SPSS 23 programme. The survey was applied to the tourists to collect data about the research. The universe of the research is the tourists arrivals to Antalya in 2018. The 384 people who were selected by the method of sampling universe are the sampling constitutes. In this context, questions were about the demographic characteristics of the tourists. There were questions about the destination of the tourists and whether the destinations placed in Turkish TV series and films affect their preferences. According to the findings of the study, Turkish TV series and films have an positive impact on the tourism sector in Turkish economy. Therefore, this study on TV series and film tourism, which has an important place in economic and social development of countries in the globalizing world, are important in terms of both the success level of tourism and its effects on national / regional development.
