Bu çalışma etno-kültürel bir grup olarak Isparta'da yaşayan Tunceliler grubunun, iç içe geçen zorunlu ve gönüllü iç göç ve yerleşme süreçleri ile kentsel uyum ve bütünleşme durumlarının betimlenmesi, anlaşılması ve yorumlanmasına yönelik bir alan araştırmasıdır. Araştırmanın metodolojik yaklaşımı "nitel araştırma yöntem"dir. Nitel araştırma yöntemi araştırma desenlerinden "durum çalışması/case study" (alt düzeyde ise durum çalışması desenlerinden "bütüncül durum çalışması") desenine göre veriler toplanılmış, veriler analiz edilmiş, sonuçlar sunularak raporlaştırma yapılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu oluşturan üç (3) kuşaktan toplam otuzsekiz (38) katılımcı ile "derinlemesine görüşme", "katılımcı gözlemler" ve "doküman incelemesi" gibi teknikler kullanılarak "veri çeşitlemesi" yoluyla veriler toplanılmıştır. Araştırma konusu ve amacına en uygun çalışma grubunun seçilmesinde "amaçlı örneklem" ve amaçlı örneklem tekniklerinden de "maksimum" ve "kartopu/zincirleme" tekniklerinden istifade edilmiştir. Mülakatların çözümlemesi, alanda edinilen gözlem ve doküman incelemesi yoluyla toplanılan verilerin "betimsel analiz" ve "tematik içerik analizi" yapılarak veri analizi yapılmıştır. Bu veriler ışığında aşağıda göç etme ve yerleşme durumu ana teması ile ilgili, 3 (üç) alt temaya ("zorunlu", "gönüllü" ve "gönüllü-zorunlu") ve 6 (altı) kategoriye ("sürgün zamanı", "temelli dönenler ve kalıcılaşanlar", "Isparta'ya geliş-gidişli misafirlik", "temelli ve kademesiz", "gönüllü- zorunlu", "tayin ve eğitim") ulaşılmıştır. Kentsel uyum ve bütünleşme durumu ana teması ile ilgili ise 2 (iki) alt temaya ("kolaylaştırıcı/geliştirici" ve "zorlaştırıcı/engelleyici") ve 7 (yedi) kategoriye ("sosyo-ekonomik", "sosyo-demografik", "sosyal", "sosyo-kültürel", "siyasal", "sosyo-psikolojik" ve "barınma, ulaşım durumu ve doğal faktörler") ulaşılmıştır. Bu alt tema ve kategoriler, Isparta yaşayan Tuncelilerin göç etme ve yerleşme bağlamında kentsel uyum ve bütünleşme durumlarını anlamak ve bundan sonra bu konularla ilgili araştırma yapan araştırmacılara kaynak olma noktasında faydalı olacağı düşünülmektedir. This paper, based on a field research about people from Tunceli residing, as an ethno-cultural community, in Isparta, aims to describe, comprehend and interpret this community's urban adaptation and integration conditions in their migration and settlement processes in Isparta. The research is conducted by using "qualitative research method". Data is collected, analyzed and the deducted outcomes are reported using qualitative research methods; of the case study designs, "holistic case study" research design is used. Data is collected by means of data triangulation; "in-depth interviews" with individuals from three (3) generations with thirtyeight (38) participants of the study group, "participant observation" and "literature review". In order to form a best fitting study group for purpose and subject of the research, qualitative research method is used to benefit from "purposeful sampling" and of the purposeful sampling technique "maximum, snowball or chain referral". The data collected through analysis of interviews, observations derived from the field and literature review were analyzed using descriptive analysis and thematic content analysis. After all, in light of the data obtained, regarding the main theme of migration and settlement conditions, 3 (three) subthemes ("forced", "voluntary", and "voluntary- forced") and 6 (six) categories ("exile time", "returnees and settlers", "coming and going visits to Isparta", "permanent and nongradual", "voluntary-forced", "appointment and education") were reached out. As to the main theme of urban adaptation and integration, 2 (two) subthemes ("facilitating/promoting" and "complicating/inhibiting") and 7 (seven) categories ("socio-economic", "socio-demographic", "social", "socio-cultural", "political", "sociopsychologic" and "accommodation, transportation conditions and natural factors") were reached out. These subthemes and categories will be helpful in understanding urban adaptation and integration conditions of people of Tunceli residing in Isparta within the context of migration and settlement, and eventually, as a resource, will help researchers who conduct a research for a similar subject.
