Bu çalışmanın amacı Mavi Bayrak Programının Antalya'da deniz suyu kalitesi ve turizm üzerindeki etkilerini belirlemektir. Bu amaca ulaşmak için çalışma alanı olarak Antalya ilinin en ünlü turizm merkezlerinden Kemer, Alanya, Kaş, Konyaaltı, Belek bölgelerinin plajları seçilmiştir. Deniz suyu kalitesini belirlemek amacıyla yüzme suyunda bakılan parametreler; Fekal Koliform ve Fekal Streptekoktur. Çalışma kapsamında incelenen sahillerde, 2011-2016 yıllarında FK ve FS değerlerinin Mayıs-Ekim ayları arasında ölçülen 6 aylık ortalama değerleri hesaplanarak grafiksel yöntemle değerlendirilmiştir. Değerlerin aşıldığı durumlarda ise bunun nedenleri tüm yerleşim yerleri özelinde araştırılmıştır. Yapılan değerlendirmeler neticesinde, Antalya ilinin en önemli turizm merkezleri deniz kirliliği problemi ile karşı karşıyadır. Bu turizm merkezlerindeki deniz kirliliklerin % 90'ı karasal kaynaklı kirliliklerdir. Karasal kaynaklı kirlilikler çoğunlukla derelerle denize taşınmaktadır. Derelerin getirdiği kirlilik kaynaklarının da en büyük nedenleri; kaçak deşarjlar, tarımsal faaliyetler, gezinti teknesi atıkları ve su arıtma problemleridir. Sonuç olarak; plaj ve çevresinin düzenli aralıklarla denetlenmesi gerekmektedir. Bölgede yaşanan olumsuzlukları en düşük seviyeye getirmek için, Mavi Bayrak Programı ile bölgenin altyapı olanakları yeniden değerlendirilmeli. The aim of this study is to determine the effects of Blue Flag Program on the sea water quality and tourism in Antalya. To achieve this aim, the beaches of the most famous tourism centers of Kemer, Alanya, Kaş, Konyaaltı and Belek were selected as the study area. In order to determine the sea water quality, the parameters examined in swimming water are; Fecal Coliform (FK) and Fecal Streptococcus (FS). The average values of FK and FS values measured between May and October in the coasts examined in the scope of the study between 2011 and 2016. The values were calculated and evaluated by graphical method. In the cases where the limits are exceeded, the specific exceedance reasons for each tourism center have been investigated. As a result, it has been determined that the most important tourism centers of Antalya are subject of sea pollution problem. 90% of marine pollution in these tourism centers are terrestrial pollution. Land-based pollution is mostly carried to the sea by streams. The biggest causes of pollution sources brought by streams are; illegal discharges, agricultural activities, cruise boat wastes and water treatment problems. As a result; the beaches and its surroundings should be inspected at regular intervals. In order to minimize the problems experienced in the region, the infrastructure opportunities of the region should be re-evaluated with the Blue Flag Program.
