Ekonomik büyümenin temel taşı olarak gösterilen inşaat endüstrisi ülkemizde çok hızlı bir şeklide büyümekte ve buna bağlı olarak yapı malzemesi ve beton teknolojisindeki gelişmeler hızla devam etmektedir. Harç malzemesi bağlayıcılık, izolasyon, görsellik ve özel kullanım amacıyla inşaat endüstrisinde sıklıkla kullanılmakla birlikte teknolojik olarak gelişime ve değişime açıktır. Harçların dezavantajı olarak bilinen yoğunluğunun fazla olması, ısı ve ses izolasyon performanslarının düşük olması araştırmacıları bu konu üzerinde çalışmaya yönlendirmiştir. Bu problemin çözümüne yönelik cam atıkların, cam liflerin ve perlitin betonda kullanması ile ilgili birçok çalışma yapılmış ve problemin kısmen çözümüne katkılar sağlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada inşaat sektöründe yüzey kaplama ve tesviye amacı ile en çok kullanılan şap harçları üretiminde genleştirilmiş cam agrega ve genleştirilmiş perlit agregası kullanarak şap harcı malzemesinin birim hacim ağırlığının azaltılması, ısı ve ses izolasyon performanslarının artırılması hedeflenmiştir. Bu amaçla inşaat sektöründe yaygın olarak kullanılan 4 tip çimento (CIB, CIC, CIIB ve CIVA) ile genleştirilmiş cam agreganın (0.25-0.5 mm) ve genleştirilmiş perlit agreganın (0.25-0.5 mm), CEN standart kumu yerine %0, %5, %10, %15, %20, %25 ve %30 oranlarında ikame edilmesi ile birlikte performans özelliklerinin arttırılması hedeflenmiştir. Hazırlanan örneklerin taze özellikleri (yayılma tablası ve yoğunluk), sertleşmiş fiziksel özellikleri (belirli örneklerde; aşınma, yoğunluk, porozite, ses geçiş hızı, ısıl iletkenlik, ses yutma katsayısı, su emme ve kapilarite) ve mekanik özellikleri (basınç dayanımı ve eğilme dayanımı) belirlenmiştir. Cam agregaların kullanılmasında sorun oluşturabilecek durumların başında Alkali Silika Reaktivitesi (ASR) geldiğinden, ikamelerde görülebilecek ASR değerleri, genleştirilmiş cam agregalı şap harçlarının performanslarının belirlenmesinde önem arzetmektedir. Bu nedenle harçların bahsi geçen dezavantajlarının belirlenebilmesi için kullanılabilecek genleştirilmiş cam agrega ikame oranının bulunması amacı ile yapılan deneylere ek olarak ASR deneyleri de yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bilgiler ışığında; uygun yayılma çapına sahip (16.50-18.00 cm), basınç dayanımı yüksek (17.60-58.00 MPa), su emmesi düşük (%8.90-%14.05), ses yutma özelliği olan (0,159-0.249), ısıl iletkenliği az (0.446-0.817 W/mK), aşınma direnci yüksek (9.22-17.26 cm3/50cm2), mümkün olduğunca yüksek dayanımlı genleştirilmiş cam agregalı ve genleştirilmiş perlit agregalı şap harçları elde edilmiş olup şap harçlarının ilgili parametreler ile olan ilişkisi irdelenmiştir. Elde edilen bu yeni ürünler ile 2018 yılında yürürlüğe giren "Binaların Gürültüye Karşı Korunması Yönetmeliğine" ve performans esaslı yalıtım malzemelerinin geliştirilmesine katkı sağlamak amacıyla camların geri dönüştürülmesi ile birlikte sürdürülebilir çevre oluşturmakta önemli bir adım atılmıştır. Bu çalışma ile birlikte ayrıca atık camların ısıl işlemle yeniden kullanılabilmesi, genleştirilmiş cam üreticilerinin yeni yatırımlar yapmasını ve istihdam artışını da beraberinde getirmesi beklentiler dahilindedir. The construction industry, which is known as the cornerstone of economic growth, is growing very rapidly in Turkey. Depending on this, development in the technology concerning construction materials and concrete are skyrocketing. Mortar material is widely used in the construction industry for the purposes of the binding, formation of surface, insolation, appearance and special use, and it is eligible for new technological development and change. Disadvantages of the mortar which are having high density, low heat and sound insulation values led the researchers to work on this subject. In order to overcome these problems, many studies have been carried out with respect to the use of glass wastes, glass fibres and perlite in concrete and contributed to the solution of the problem partially. In this study, in order to reduce the density of the screed mortar and increase the performance of heat and sound insulation, expanded glass aggregate and expanded perlite aggregate are used in the production of screed mortar which is mainly used for the purpose of surface coating and levelling in the construction sector. In order to improve performance characteristics of screed, the most common four cement types using in the construction sector (CIB, CIC, CIIB and CIVA), expanded glass aggregate (0.25-0.5 mm) and expanded perlite aggregate (0.25-0.5mm) are used. Expanded glass aggregate and expanded perlite aggregate are used 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% and 30% as substitutions replacing with CEN standard sand. The properties of the green mortar in the experiments (flow table and density), physical properties of hardened mortar (for certain samples; wearing out, density, porosity, sound transition rate, thermal conductivity, sound absorption coefficient, water absorption and capillarity) and mechanical properties (compressive and bending strengths) are determined. Since the Alkaline Silica Reaction (ASR) is one of the most important condition that may cause problems in the use of glass aggregates, the ASR values that can be seen in the substitutions are important for determining the performance of the screed mortar with expanded glass. Therefore, in addition to the experiments carried out for the purpose of finding the expanded glass aggregate substitute which can be used to determine the mentioned disadvantages of the mortars, experiments concerning ASR were also carried out. In the light of the information obtained; screed mortar with expanded glass aggregate and expanded perlite aggregate having properties including adequate flow diameter (16.50-18.00 cm), high strength (17.60-58.00 MPa), low water absorption value (%8.90-%14.05), sound resistance properties (0,159-0.249), low thermal conductivity (0.446-0.817 W/mK), high wearing resistance (9.22-17.26 cm3/50cm2) are obtained and their properties are examined. Additionally, the relationship between the screed mortar and the related parameters has been examined. By recycling the glasses, sustainable ecology is obtained and also regulation of "Protection of Buildings against Noise" released in 2018 and the development of performance based insulation materials are contributed. With this study, it is also expected that the waste glass will be reused with heating treatment, expanded glass firms will make new investments for the recycling and employment rate will increase respectively.
