Bu tez çalışmasında; Kayseri ili Develi ilçesi kent meydanı ve yakın çevresine hizmet verecek bir çevre düzenlemesi ile kent meydanına ait çözümler üretilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Proje alanının bulunduğu konum dikkate alınarak, kente bir kimlik kazandırmayı amaçlayan kent meydanı tasarımı ile proje alanının daha verimli, ekonomik açıdan şehre katkısının artırılması ve yaşayan bir kent parçası haline getirilmesi istenmektedir. Develi İlçe merkezi hakkında analiz paftaları ile, günlük kent ve ilçe yaşamında çeşitli amaçlarla yoğun olarak kullanılan Develi Kent Meydanı öncesi ve sonrası kullanımları, tasarım kararları ve uygulaması aynı zamanda projenin geliştirilerek insan, kent ve ekoloji üçlemesinin daha verimli bir hale getirilmesi incelenecektir. Yetersiz gelen Develi meydanı için düzenlenen 12 Şubat 2018 tarihli çalıştayında hazırlanan tez konusunda özgün düşüncelere renk katması amacıyla tez kapsamında altlık oluşturması sağlanılmıştır. In this thesis; It is aimed to produce solutions belonging to the city square with a landscaping that will serve the city square and its close surroundings in Develi district of Kayseri. Taking into consideration the location of the project area, it is desired to increase the contribution of the project area to the city more efficiently and to make it a living city part with the design of urban square aiming to give the city an identity. With the analysis sheets about Develi District center, pre and post uses of Develi Town Square which are used extensively for various purposes in daily city and district life, design decisions and implementation will also be developed and the project will be improved to make the human, urban and ecology trilogy more efficient. In order to add new perspective to the original ideas about the thesis prepared in the workshop on February 12, 2018, which was held for Develi Square which was inadequate, it was provided to create a base within the scope of the thesis. In addition, inferences were made on the results of the surveys conducted with 172 people. Keywords: Square, historical environment, historical texture, landscape architecture, Develi.
