İnşaat yük asansörleri, inşaat sektöründe hemen her yerde kullanılmaktadır. Başlıca kullanım alanları: İnşaatlar, termik santrallerin bacaları, fabrikalar, köprü ayakları ve depolardır. Birbirleri ile temas halinde çalışan makine elemanlarında aşınma kaçınılmaz bir sondur. İnşaat yük asansörleri çalışırken, istikamet makaraları sürekli mast ile temas halindedir. Bütün kullanım boyunca temas halinde olması makaraların hızlı bir şekilde aşınmasına sebep olmaktadır. Çeliklerin aşınmalarına etki eden birçok faktör mevcuttur. Malzeme seçimi çeliklerin aşınma miktarına etki eden bir faktörlerden birisidir. Bu yüzden istikamet makaralarında kullanılan çeliğin türü, makaraların aşınmasında önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Bu tez çalışmasında, inşaat yük asansörlerinin istikamet makaralarında farklı çelik malzemelerin kullanılmasının, makara üzerinde oluşan aşınma miktarına etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. İstikamet makaraları, farklı çeliklerden imal edilerek yağsız kuru sürtünme şartlarında aşınmaya maruz bırakılmıştır. Çalışmada, inşaat yük asansörlerinin istikamet makaralarında kullanılacak en uygun malzemeyi seçmek hedeflenmiştir. Çalışmada kullanılmış olan istikamet makaraları 3 boyutlu tasarım programı ile tasarlanmıştır. İstikamet makaraları, SAE (AISI) 4140, SAE (AISI) 8620 ve SAE (AISI) 1040 çeliklerinden imal edilmiştir. Üretim TOSS Sn 55 marka torna ile yapılmıştır. Üretimi yapılan istikamet makaralarının sertlikleri sırasıyla 212 HB, 217 HB ve 220 HB'dir. İstikamet makaralarının aşınma deneylerinin yapılabilmesi için bir test düzeneği tasarlanmıştır. Test düzeneğinin tasarımı 3 boyutlu tasarım programıyla yapılmıştır. Tasarımı tamamlanan test düzeneği, Süleyman Demirel Üniversitesi Mühendislik Fakültesi Öğrenci Laboratuvar'ına kurulmuştur. Çalışabilmesi için sisteme bir motor dahil edilmiş ve motorun elektrik bağlantısı yapılmıştır. İstikamet makaraları, test düzeneğinde aşınma testine maruz bırakılmıştır. Her çelik türünden 4 adet istikamet makarası üretilmiştir. 12 adet üretilen istikamet makaraları, test cihazında 2500, 5000, 7500 ve 10000 adet noktasal temas sayısında test edilmiştir. Test edilen istikamet makaraları, metil alkol kullanılarak temizlemiştir. Aşınan yüzeyler ve aşınma partikülleri fiziksel olarak incelenmiştir. Partiküllerin toz şeklinde olduğu gözlenmiştir ve aşınma mekanizması tespit edilmiştir. Bir hassas terazi yardımıyla aşınmadan kaynaklanan ağırlık kaybı ölçülmüştür. Ölçülen ağırlık miktarları çelikler arasında (SAE (AISI) 4140, SAE (AISI) 8620, SAE (AISI) 1040) karşılaştırılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, inşaat yük asansörlerinde kullanılan istikamet makaralarında aşınma mekanizması, yorulma aşınması olarak saptanmıştır. Sertlik değerlerinin yakın olmasına rağmen, aşınma miktarları farklı bulunmuştur. Bu durumun, çelik türlerinin farklılığından kaynaklandığı düşünülmektedir. Construction hoists are used almost everywhere in the construction industry. Constructions, chimneys of thermal power plants, factories, bridge stands and warehouses are the main areas of use. Wear is an inevitable end in machine elements working in contact with each other. While the construction hoists are running, the direction rollers are in constant contact with the mast. Keeping in contact throughout the entire use causes the rollers to wear out quickly. There are many factors affecting the wear of steels. The choice of materials is one of the factors affecting the wear amount of steels. Therefore, the type of steel used in the direction rollers plays an important role in the wear of the rollers. In this thesis, it is aimed to investigate the effect of the use of different steel materials on the direction pulleys of construction hoists on the amount of wear on the pulley. The direction rollers are made of different steels and are subject to wear under dry oil-free friction conditions. In this study, it is aimed to select the most suitable material to be used in the direction pulleys of construction hoists. The direction rollers used in the study were designed with a 3D design program. Direction reels are made of SAE (AISI) 4140, SAE (AISI) 8620 and SAE (AISI) 1040 steels. Production was carried out with TOSS Sn 55 brand lathe. The hardnesses of the produced direction rollers are 212 HB, 217 HB and 220 HB respectively. A test device has been designed to perform wear tests of the direction rollers. The test setup was designed with the 3D design program. The test apparatus, whose design was completed, was installed in the Student Laboratory of Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Engineering. A motor is included in the system and electrical connection of the motor is made. The direction rollers were subjected to wear testing in the test apparatus. 4 direction reels of each steel type were produced. 12 produced direction rollers were tested at 2500, 5000, 7500 and 10000 point contacts in the test device. The tested direction rollers were cleaned using methyl alcohol. Wearing surfaces and wear particles were physically examined. The particles were observed to be in powder form and the wear mechanism was determined. The mass loss due to wear was measured with a precision balance. The measured mass amounts were compared between steels (SAE (AISI) 4140, SAE (AISI) 8620, SAE (AISI) 1040). As a result, the wear mechanism of the direction rollers used in construction hoists was determined as fatigue wear. Although the hardness values were close, the wear amounts were different.
