Giriş: Futbol içerisinde sayısız beceri, fiziksel, teknik, taktik ve sosyolojik yeteneklerin ve performansların sahaya yansıtıldığı bir oyundur. Yeteneklerin sahaya yansıtılmasında temel faktör performans olup son yıllarda performans gelişimi üzerine yeni yöntemler denenmektedir. Bu yöntemlerden biri olan Floss band egzersizi doku üzerinde kompresyon ve vasküler oklüzyon oluşturarak ağrı, ödem ve gecikmiş kas ağrısı üzerinde etkili olmaktadır. Bununla birlikte floss bandın ayak bileği uygulamalarında eklem hareket açıklığını arttırarak sıçrama ve sprint performanslarını geliştirdiği bildirilmiş fakat kas performansına etkisi araştırılmamıştır. Amaç: Çalışmanın amacı rutin antrenman programına eklenen floss band ile yapılan kuvvet egzersizlerinin kas kuvveti, sıçrama performansı ve kas torkuna etkisini incelemektir. Gereç ve Yöntem: İki futbol takımı (n=40) randomize olarak, floss band eğitim grubu (n=20) ve kontrol grubu (n=20) olacak şekilde ikiye ayrıldı. Floss band grubundaki oyunculara floss band ağrı eşiği 7/10 olacak şekilde gerdirilerek sarılarak, kontrol grubunundaki sporculara ise band uygulaması yapılmadan haftada 3 gün dört hafta boyunca 10 tekrarlı 5 set halinde topuk yükseltme ve düşürme egzersizleri yaptırıldı. Çalışma öncesinde ve 4 hafta sonunda el dinomometresi ile maksimum istemli izometrik kas kontraksiyonu, havalı fitnes ekipmanı ile kas torku değerlendirildi. Ayrıca sıçrama performansını değerlendirmek için tek adım ve üç adım sıçrama testleri kullanıldı. Bulgular: 4 haftanın sonunda her iki grupta da plantarfleksiyon kas kuvveti, plantarfleksiyon torku, tek adım ve üç adım sıçrama testlerinde gelişme görüldü. Floss band eğitim grubu kontrol grubu ile karşılaştırıldığında; plantarfleksiyon kas kuvveti, plantarfleksiyon torku ve üç adım sıçrama performansı floss band eğitim grubunda kontrol grubuna göre istatiksel olarak anlamlı derecede yüksek bulundu (p <0.05). Tek adım sıçrama mesafesinde ise gruplar arasında istatiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık gözlenmedi (p=0,841). Sonuç: Çalışmadan elde ettiğimiz sonuçlar rutin antrenman programı yanında floss band ile kuvvet egzersizi yapmanın kas performansını istatiksel olarak daha fazla geliştirdiğini göstermiştir. Sporcularda antrenman programı veya rehabilitasyon sürecine eklenen floss band egzersizi kas performansında daha fazla gelişim için fırsatlar sunmaktadır.

Introduction: It is a game in which countless skills, physical, technical, tactical and sociological skills and performances are reflected on the field. The main factor in reflecting the talents to the field is performance and new methods on performance development have been tried in recent years. One of these methods, Floss band training, creates compression and vascular occlusion on the tissue and affects pain, edema and delayed muscle pain. However, the floss band has been reported to increase the range of motion of the ankle and improve its jumping and sprint performances, but its effect on muscle performance has not been investigated. Objective: The aim of the study is to examine the effect of the strength exercises performed with floss tape added to the routine training program on muscle strength, jumping performance and muscle peak torque. Material and Method: Two football teams (n = 40) were randomly divided into two groups: floss band training group (n = 20) and control group (n = 20). In the floss band group, the floss band was stretched by stretching the pain threshold to 7/10 and the athletes in the control group were given heel raising and lowering exercises in 5 sets with 10 repetitions for 3 days a week for four weeks without tape application. Maximum voluntary isometric muscle contraction with hand dynamometer and muscle peak torque with air fit equipment were evaluated before and after the study. In addition, one-step and three-step jump tests were used to evaluate the jumping performance. Results: At the end of 4 weeks, both groups showed improvement in plantar flexion muscle strength, plantar flexion peak torque, one-step and three-step jump tests. Compared with floss band training group control group; Plantar flexion muscle strength, plantar flexion peak torque and three-step jumping performance were statistically significantly higher in the floss band training group compared to the control group (p <0.05). A statistically significant difference wasn't observed between groups in one-step jump distance (p = 0.841). Conclusion: The results obtained from the study showed that besides the routine training program, strength training with floss tape improves the muscle performance statistically. Floss band training, which is added to the training program or rehabilitation process in athletes, provides opportunities for further improvement in muscle performance.
