Bu çalışmada, yakıt olarak kerosen kullanan bir model turbojet motorunda gerçekleştirilen modifikasyonlar neticesinde eurodizel yakıtı ile birlikte farklı oranlarda hidrojen gazı kullanımının net itki kuvveti ve egzoz emisyolarına etkisi deneysel olarak araştırılmıştır. Deneysel çalışmalar, Jetcat P80-SE tipi model turbojet motoru için kurulan deney düzeneğinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Eurodizel ve hidrojen yakıtları motora, yakıt nozullarına dağıtımın gerçekleştirildiği ortak rail üzerindeki iki farklı girişten gerçekleştirilmiştir. Motora alınan hidrojen gazı yüzdesi, eurodizel+hidrojen yakıtının toplam ısı enerjisinin %0-20 aralığına karşılık gelen hidrojen miktarlarına göre belirlenmiştir. Hidrojen gazı model turbojet motora direk verilmemiş olup, bir enjektör sayesinde kontrollü bir şekilde aktarılmıştır. Enjektörü kontrol için bir elektronik kontrol devresi oluşturulmuş ve enjektörün kontrolü bir Arduino-Uno kart sayesinde sağlanmıştır. Motora eurodizel yakıtı bir sıvı yakıt pompası üzerinden beslenirken, hidrojen yakıtı 200 bar basınçtaki hidrojen tüpünden beslenmiştir. Hidrojen tankından, hidrojen gazını turbojet motora iletmek için harici bir yakıt hattı oluşturulmuştur. Hidrojen tüpü çıkışına bağlanan regülatör yardımıyla yakıt hattı basıncı 5 bar'da sabit tutulmuştur. Hidrojen yakıt hattı üzerine bağlanan alev geri tepme valfi ve iki adet gaz kaçak dedektörü tarafından kontrol edilen selenoid valf yardımıyla yakıt hattı güvenliği sağlanmıştır. Deneysel çalışmalar motorun 35.000-95.000 d/d aralığında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Deneysel çalışmalar esnasında, motora alınan eurodizel ve hidrojen yakıtlarının debisinin yanında motorun net itki kuvveti, egzoz gaz sıcaklığı, egzoz emisyonları (CO, HC, CO2, NOx) ve egzoz O2 konsantrasyonu ölçülmüştür. Elde edilen deneysel sonuçlardan motorun özgül enerji tüketimi (kJ/kNh) hesaplanmıştır. Deneysel çalışmalar sonucunda, motora alınan toplam yakıt enerjisine farklı oranlarında ikame edilen hidrojen miktarının artışı ile özgül enerji tüketiminde %4,8'e varan oranlarda azalmaların olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte, egzoz emisyonların da dikkate değer oranda iyileşmelerin olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. CO miktarında %25-50, CO2 miktarında ise %4-20 arasında azalmalar görülmüş olup, NOx, HC miktarları ve O2 konsantrasyonu, devirlere göre farklılıklar göstermiştir. In this study, as a result of the modifications made in a model turbojet engine that uses kerosene as fuel, the utilization effect of the different amounts of gaseous hydrogen and euro diesel as an alternative fuel for jet engines on net impulse and exhaust emissions. Experimental studies were carried out in the experimental setup established for the model turbojet engine of Jetcat P80-SE type. Euro diesel and hydrogen fuels are given to the engine from two different inlets on the common rail, where the distribution of fuel nozzles is made. The percentage of gaseous hydrogen taken into the engine was determined according to the hydrogen amounts corresponding to the %0-20 range of the total heat energy of the euro diesel+hydrogen fuel. To made a controlled transmission, the gaseous hydrogen was transferred to the model turbojet engine by using an injector. An electronic control circuit design has been created to control the injector, and also the injector has been controlled by using an Arduino-Uno board. The euro diesel fuel and hydrogen were fed to the engine via the liquid fuel pump and 200 bar pressure hydrogen tank, respectively. Based on the security protocols of experimental studies on the compressed hydrogen, an external fuel line was created from the hydrogen tank to deliver hydrogen to the turbojet engine. The fuel line pressure was kept constant at 5 bar with the help of the regulator connected to the hydrogen tank outlet. Also, fuel line safety is ensured with the help of flame back-fire valve connected to the hydrogen fuel line and solenoid valve controlled by two gas leak detectors. Experimental studies were carried out in the 35.000-95.000 rpm range of jet engine. During the experimental studies, the net impulse force, exhaust gas temperature and emissions (CO, HC, CO2, NOx) and exhaust O2 concentration were measured in addition to the flow of euro diesel and hydrogen fuels taken into the engine. The specific energy consumption (kJ/kNh) of the jet engine was calculated from the obtained experimental results. As a result of the experimental studies, it has been determined that there is a decrease in the specific energy consumption up to 4,8 % with the increase in the amount of gaseous hydrogen substituted at different rates to the total fuel energy taken into the engine. In addition to that, considerable improvements in exhaust emissions have been observed. The amount of CO and CO2 decreased, respectively 25-50% and 4-20%.
