Atık elektrikli ve elektronik ekipmanlar (AEEE), önemli miktarda temel metaller ve bunların yanı sıra, yüksek ekonomik değere sahip değerli metaller ve nadir toprak elementleri (NTE) içerir ve bundan dolayı önemli bir ikincil kaynak konumundadır. Bu tez kapsamında atık cep telefonlarının baskılı devre kartları, sabit disk sürücülerinin NdFeB mıknatısları ve geri dönüşüm tesisinden alınan elektronik atıklar mekanik ön işlemler (ayırma, boyut küçültme, demagnetizasyon vb.) sonrasında birbirini takip eden aşamalı biyo-/hidrometalurjik yaklaşımlarla değerlendirilmiştir. Ticarileştirme nihai amacı ile operasyonel ve maliyet verileri oluşturmak için yarı pilot ölçekli testlerin geliştirilmesine odaklanılmıştır. SüperPro Dizayn programı ile tesis simülasyonları oluşturulmuş ve seçilen proseslerin ekonomik uygulanabilirliği araştırılmıştır. Atık baskılı devre kartları (ABDK) için geliştirilen biyoliç ve onu takip eden demir çöktürme, solvent yer değiştirme kristalizasyonu (SDC) ve indirgeme proseslerini içeren modellemede yatırım maliyetinin 1,8 yılda geri karşılanacağı ve geri ödeme yüzdesinin %89,32 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Atık NdFeB mıknatıslardan neodimyum ve disprosiyum kazanımı için öngörülen liç, çöktürme ve solvent ekstraksiyon tesislerinin 2,2 yılda yatırım maliyetini karşılayacağı ve geri ödeme yüzdesinin %80,3 olduğu öngörülmüştür. Geri dönüşüm tesisinden alınan elektronik atık numunesi için ise biyoliç ve kademeli çöktürme testleri ile bir modelleme oluşturulmuş tesislerin 0,98 yılda yatırım maliyetini karşılayacağı ve geri ödeme yüzdesi %90,4 olduğu saptanmıştır. Her üç sistemde de ana kaynaktan üretime göre daha büyük kazançlar sağlanmıştır. Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), which contains potentially significant amounts of base metals, as well as precious metals and rare earth elements (REEs) with high economic value is deemed to be a potential secondary resource for metals. Within the scope of this thesis, printed circuit boards of waste mobile phones, NdFeB magnets of hard disk drives and electronic waste taken from the recycling plant were evaluated with successive step-by-step bio-/hydrometallurgical approaches after mechanical pre-processes (separation, size reduction, demagnetization, etc.). With the ultimate goal of commercialization, the focus is on the development of semi-pilot scale tests to generate operational and cost data. Plant simulations have been created with the SuperPro Design program and the economic feasibility of the selected processes has been investigated. For waste printed circuit boards (WPCBs), it has been determined that the investment cost will be reimbursed in 1.8 years and the payback percentage is 89.32% in the modeling, which includes bioleaching followed by iron precipitation, solvent displacement crystallisation (SDC) and reduction processes. It was predicted that leaching, precipitation and solvent extraction plants envisaged for the recovery of neodymium and dysprosium from waste NdFeB magnets will cover the investment cost in 2.2 years and the repayment percentage is 80.3%. For the electronic waste sample taken from the recycling plant, a modeling was created with bioleach and gradual precipitation tests, and it was determined that the plants will meet the investment cost in 0.98 years and the repayment percentage is 90.4%. In all three systems, greater gains are achieved compared to production from the main source.
