Hizmet işletmelerinde bir ürün veya hizmete olan talebin artması ve artan talep ile birlikte müşterinin isteğinin o anda karşılanamaması sonucunda beklemeler oluşmaktadır. Bekleme süresi hem müşteri memnuniyetini hem de işletme için maliyetleri etkilemektedir. İşletme yöneticilerinin, hizmet sağlayıcılarını artırıp bekleme süresini ve kuyruk uzunluğunu azaltmak veya tam tersi müşterinin sistemde olmadığı durumlarda sayıyı azaltarak gerekli önlemleri almaları beklenmektedir. Çünkü, bekleme süresi ve kuyruk uzunluğu müşteri memnuniyetini olumsuz yönde etkilerken, maliyetleri de arttırıcı bir faktördür. Bu tez kapsamında, bekleme hattı modellerinin benzetimini yapabilen ve sistem performansının ölçülebildiği esnek bir yazılım geliştirilmiştir. Yazılıma, paralel ve seri istasyon ile birlikte çalışan sayısı ve çalışanların hizmet süreleri eklenebilmektedir. Geliştirilen yazılımda, geliş ve servis dağılımları için poisson dağılımı, üstel ve normal dağılım, deterministik ve Erlang dağılımının seçilebilmesine imkân tanınmıştır. Yazılım hizmet sektörüne yönelik bekleme süreleri ve maliyetlerinin iyileştirmesi için bir karar destek sistemi olarak tasarlanmış ve geliştirilmiştir. As a result of the increase in the demand for a product or service in the service systems, the request of the customer cannot be met at that moment and the waiting occurs. Waiting times, affect both customer satisfaction and costs for the business. Business managers should also take the necessary measures by reducing when the customer isn't in the system or by increasing their service providers reduce waiting time and queue length. Because while waiting time and queue length negatively affect customer satisfaction, it is a factor that increases costs. Within the scope of this thesis, a flexible software has been developed that can simulate waiting line models and system performance can be measured. In the software, parallel and serial stations, the number of employees and the service times of the employees can be added. In the developed software, it is possible to select poisson distribution, exponential and normal distribution, deterministic and Erlang distribution for arrival and service distributions. The software was designed and developed as a decision support system to improve waiting times and costs for the service systems.
