Bu tez çalışmasında mermer ocağında üretimde aktif olarak kullanılan köprülü elmas tel kesme makinesi ile zincirli kollu kesici makinenin kesim performansları karşılaştırılmıştır. Bu kapsamda makinelerin kesimde harcadığı enerji, işçilik, sarf malzeme, gres kullanımı, elmas boncuk ve soketlerdeki aşınmalar, su tüketimi, kesim hızları, ilk yatırım maliyeti ve iki makinanın avantaj-dezavantajları gibi parametreler dikkate alınarak gerekli inceleme ve değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Yapılan inceleme ve hesaplamalar sonucunda, köprülü elmas tel kesme makinesi ile toplam 7869 m2'lik alan kesilmiş olup kesim hızı 11,68 m2/h olarak hesaplanmıştır. Zincirli kollu kesici makinesi ile kesim işlemi boyunca toplam 3689,9 m2'lik alan kesilmiş olup kesim hızı 4,94 m2/h olarak belirlenmiştir. Makinelerin kesim boyunca toplam kurulum süreleri ve toplam maliyet incelendiğinde köprülü elmas tel kesme makinesinin kurulum süresi 18,28 h iken zincirli kollu kesici makinenin kurulum süresi 21,68 h olarak hesaplanmıştır. Enerji maliyetleri irdelendiğinde zincirli kollu kesici makine ile kesim işlemlerinde 18062,06 TL, köprülü elmas tel kesme makineyle ise 10355,604 TL enerji maliyeti hesaplanmış ve köprülü elmas tel kesme makinesinin daha ekonomik bir makine olduğu görülmüştür. Kesim boyunca makinelerin işçilik maliyetleri karşılaştırıldığında zincirli kollu kesicinin 3,796 TL/m2, köprülü elmas tel kesmenin ise 1,784 TL/m2 olarak bulunmuş ve köprülü elmas tel kesme makinesinden daha az işçilik ile daha fazla verim alınmıştır. Zincirli kollu kesici makinede kesim işleminde kesici takımı soğutmak için gres kullanılmakta olup, köprülü elmas tel kesme makinesinde ise su kullanıldığından köprülü elmas tel kesme makinesinin daha çevreci olduğu görülmektedir. Bütün bu değerlendirmeler sonucunda, köprülü elmas tel kesme makinesinin kesim işleminde daha verimli bir makine olduğu görülmüştür. In this thesis, the cutting performances of the bridge diamond wire cutting machine and the chain saw machine, which are actively used in the marble quarry, are compared. In this context, necessary examinations and evaluations have been made by taking into account parameters such as energy consumption, labor costs, consumables, use of grease, wear of diamond beads and sockets, water consumption, cutting speeds, initial investment costs and the advantages-disadvantages of the two machines. In this study, 7869 m2 area was cut during the cutting process with bridge diamond wire cutting machine and the cutting speed was calculated as 11.68 m2/h. During the cutting process with the chain saw machine, an area of 3689.9 m2 was cut and the cutting speed was calculated as 4.94 m2/h. When the total installation times and the total cost of the machines during the cutting are examined, the installation time of the bridge diamond wire cutting machine was 18.28 h, and the installation time of the chain saw machine was calculated as 21.68 h. It has been seen that the bridge diamond wire cutting machine is a more efficient machine in the cutting process since it requires more time to install the chain saw and is more costly. It is seen that the bridge cutting machine is more environmentally friendly, since the chain saw cutting machine uses grease to cool the cutting tool in the cutting process, and water is used in the bridged diamond wire cutting machine to cool the diamond wire. When the energy costs are examined, the energy cost of the chain saw machine is 18062.06 TL, the bridge diamond wire cutting machine is 10355.604 TL and it is seen that the bridge diamond wire cutting machine is a more economically machine. When the labor costs of the machines were compared during the cutting, it was found that the chain saw machine was 3.796 TL/m2, and the bridge diamond wire cutting was 1.784 TL/m2, and the bridge diamond wire cutting machine received more efficiency with less work.
