Su kaynakları yapılarının projelendirme safhasında çok fazla alternatif üretilebilmektedir. Bu alternatiflerden en uygunun seçilmesi çok büyük zaman alabilmektedir. Bu yapıların başında da barajlar gelmektedir. Bir baraj yapısında çok fazla kısıt fonksiyonu ve malzeme özelliği farklılıkları mevcuttur. Klasik çözümlerle tüm alternatiflerin denenmesi oldukça zordur. Bu problemin üstesinden gelmek için bilgisayar yazılımları tek başına yetersiz kalabilmektedir. Mevcut yazılımların dahi özellikle meta sezgisel optimizasyon teknikleriyle kullanılması sayısız çözümün çok kısa sürede oluşturulup değerlendirilmesi ile sonuçlanmaktadır. Bu tez çalışmasında ağırlık beton barajların optimum maliyetli tasarımları elde edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla öncelikle ağırlık beton barajların kısıt fonksiyonları ve tahkiklerini barındıran bir yazılım geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen bu yazılım literatürde mevcut olan sekiz farklı meta sezgisel optimizasyon yöntemi ile entegre edilmiş ve sonuçlar kıyaslanmıştır. Bu sekiz farklı meta sezgisel optimizasyon yönteminin ağırlık barajların optimizasyonunda daha iyi sonuç verdiği de araştırılmıştır. Ayrıca çeşitli deprem ivmeleri ve baraj yükseklikleri için de içinde abaklar oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla deprem ivmesi 0-0,2 aralığında 0,05 hassasiyetle arttırılmış değerlerle modele girdi olarak verilirken baraj yüksekliği için 12-30 m aralığı 1 m hassasiyetle çalışılmıştır. Her bir optimizasyon yöntemi için 100 adet ajan 500 iterasyonla çalıştırılmıştır. Optimizasyon yöntemlerinin en iyiyi verme gibi bir iddiası bulunmadığından her bir yöntem 30'ar kere çalıştırılmış ve minimum, maksimum, ortalama ve standart sapma değerleri de ayrıca hesaplanmıştır. Farklı girdi parametreleri, ajan, iterasyon ve tekrar sayısı dikkate alındığında her bir optimizasyon yönteminden elde edilen abakları oluşturabilmek için 142.500.000 adet hesap yapılmış ve grafiksel halde sunulmuştur. Çalışmada son olarak modelin doğruluğunu ve mevcut barajlara uygulanabilirliğini göstermek amacı ile literatürde mevcut bir baraja göre yazılım güncellenerek elde edilen sonuçlar mevcut barajla kıyaslanmıştır. Ayrıca tüm bu yazılımın kolay kullanımı amacıyla bir arayüz tasarlanmış ve tez içerisinde sunulmuştur. Many alternatives can be produced in the project phase of water resource structures, and choosing the most suitable among these alternatives can take a great deal of time. Dams are at the top of these structures. However, there are too many constraints of functions and material property differences in a dam structure. It is very challenging to test all alternatives using classical solutions, and computer software alone may be insufficient to overcome this problem. Even the use of existing software, especially with meta-heuristic optimization techniques, results in the creation and evaluation of countless solutions in a very short time. This thesis has sought to obtain the optimum cost designs of concrete gravity dams. For this purpose, a software that includes constraint functions and investigations of concrete gravity dams has been developed. This newly developed software was integrated with eight different meta-heuristic optimization methods available in the literature, and the results were compared. It has been found that these eight different meta heuristic optimization methods give better results in the optimization of gravity dams. In addition, efforts have been made to create curbs for various earthquake accelerations and dam heights. For this purpose, while the earthquake acceleration was given as input to the model with values 0-0,2 increased with 0.05 precision in the range of 0–0.2, the range of 12–30 m was studied with 1 m precision for the dam height. For each optimization method, 100 agents were run with 500 iterations. Since the optimization methods do not claim to give the best, each method was run 30 times and the minimum, maximum, average and standard deviation values were also calculated. Considering the different input parameters, agents, iterations and number of repetitions, 142,500,000 calculations were made and presented graphically in order to create the streams obtained from each optimization method. Finally, in order to show the accuracy of the model and its applicability to existing dams, the results obtained by updating the software according to an existing dam in the literature were compared against the existing dam. In addition, an interface has been designed for the easy use of this software and has been presented in a thesis.
