Bu araştırmanın amacı, vücudumuzdaki sistemler ünitesinde dinamik görsel kullanımının altıncı sınıf öğrencilerinin akademik başarılarına etkisini belirlemektir. Nicel araştırma yöntemi ile gerçekleştirilen çalışma, deneysel desen temelinde yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden öntest sontest kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Kontrol ve deney grupları belirlenirken rastgele örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın deneysel süreci 2019-2020 eğitim öğretim yılında gerçekleştirilmiş olup ünitelendirilmiş yıllık plana uygun olarak sekiz hafta sürmüştür. Araştırmanın örneklemini Bayburt il merkezinde yer alan bir devlet okulunda öğrenim görmekte olan 38 altıncı sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Deney grubunda 16 öğrenci ve kontrol grubunda 22 öğrenci yer almaktadır. Deney grubunda söz konusu ünite dinamik görseller kullanılarak işlenirken, kontrol grubunda öğretim programının ön gördüğü yöntem ile işlenmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak öğretim programında yer alan kazanımlar doğrultusunda, alanyazında yer alan vücudumuzdaki sistemler ünitesine ait sorulardan oluşturulan "Vücudumuzdaki Sistemler Başarı Testi" kullanılmıştır. "Vücudumuzdaki Sistemler Başarı Testi" kontrol ve deney gruplarında öntest ve sontest olarak uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizi bağımlı örneklem t-testi ve bağımsız örneklem t-testi kullanılarak yapılmıştır. SPSS paket programları ile elde edilen analiz sonuçlarına göre; kontrol ve deney gruplarının "Vücudumuzdaki Sistemler Başarı Testi" son test puanları arasında istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur. Bulunan bu farklılığın deney grubu lehine olduğu görülmüştür. Bu anlamlı farklılıktan yola çıkılarak altıncı sınıf vücudumuzdaki sistemler ünitesinin öğretilmesi sürecinde dinamik görsel kullanımının, öğretim programının öngördüğü yönteme göre öğrencilerin akademik başarıları üzerinde daha etkili olduğu yorumu yapılabilir. Araştırma sonuçları temelinde dinamik görsellerin öğrenci başarısını artırmak amacıyla kullanımının yaygınlaştırılması önerilmektedir. Ayrıca elde edilen sonuçların daha geniş kapsamda yorumlanabilmesi açısından benzer çalışmaların farklı örneklem ve farklı konular ile yapılması önerilmektedir. This study aimed to determine the effect of the use of dynamic visuals in the systems unit in our body on the success of sixth-grade students. The research has been carried out with the quantitative research method according to the experimental design. In the study, quasi-experimental design with pre-test, post-test control groups, one of the quantitative research methods were used. Random sampling method was used while determining the control and experimental groups. The experimental process of the study was carried out in the 2019-2020 academic year and lasted eight weeks. The study was conducted with sixth-grade students from an middle school in Bayburt. There were 16 students in the experimental group and there were 22 students in the control group. "The systems unit in our body" was processed using dynamic visuals in the experimental group and it was processed using the method suggested by the curriculum in the control group. As a data collection tool, in line with the achievements, "The Systems in Our Body Success Test", which was created from the questions in the literature, was used. "The Systems in Our Body Success Test" was applied as pre-test and post-test in control and experimental groups. Data were analyzed using dependent and independent sample t-test. Based on analyses with SPSS, there was a significant difference between post-test scores of "The Systems in Our Body Success Test" experimental and control groups. The difference was seen to be in favor of the experimental group. Based on this significant difference, it can be interpreted that the use of dynamic visuals in the teaching process of "The systems unit in our body" is more effective on students' academic achievement than the method envisaged by the curriculum. According to the results of the research, it is recommended to expand the use of dynamic visuals in order to increase student success. In addition, it is recommended to conduct similar studies with different samples and subjects in order to interpret the results obtained in a wider scope.
