Bu çalışmada, XVIII. Asrın ikinci yarısında Anadolu coğrafyasında yetişmiş Osmanlı müderrislerinden Rizeli Hâfız Hüseyin Efendi'nin (ö. 1237/1821), İmâm Ebü'l-Kâsım eş-Şâtıbî'nin (ö. 590/1194) Râ'iyye manzûmesine yazdığı şerhin tahkik ve tahlili yapılmıştır. Resmü'l-mushaf dalında Osmanlı Türkçesi'yle yazılmış olan bu şerhte, Kur'ân kelimelerinin imlâ hususiyetleri ve bu kelimelerin imlâ gerekçeleri ele alınmış, Kur'ân'ın cem ve istinsah faaliyetleriyle ilgili bilgiler yer almıştır. Giriş ve iki bölümden oluşan tahlil kısmında; araştırmanın konusu, önemi, amacı ve metodu üzerinde durulmuştur. Resmü'l-mushaf ilminin teşekkülü, tarihsel gelişimi, kavramları ve genel kuralları üzerine bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Ardından Hüseyin Efendi'nin şerh ettiği Râ'iyye manzûmesinin müellifi, konusu, tavsîfi ve kaynağı hakkında bilgi verilmiş, Râ'iyye üzerine yapılan neşir, muâraza, hâşiye ve şerh çalışmaları ile ilgili malumat aktarılmıştır. Hüseyin Efendi'nin yaşadığı dönemin siyasî ve ilmî durumları muhtasar bir biçimde incelenmiş, ismi, künyesi, seyahati, aldığı eğitim ve hayatı ana hatlarıyla ele alınmıştır. Tahlîlde üzerinde durulan bir diğer husus da, Hüseyin Efendi'nin ortaya koyduğu eserin incelenmesi ve muhteva açısından değerlendirilmesidir. Böylece eserin adı, müellife aidiyeti, yazılış gayesi ve müellifin takip ettiği metot tahlîl edilmiştir. Akabinde başta resmü'l-mushaf olmak üzere kırâât, Arap filolojisi ve kelâm gibi yönlerden şerhin ilmî değeri üzerine durulmuş ve şerhin tenkide açık taraflarından söz edilmiştir. Ayrıca eserde atıfta bulunulan kaynaklar tespit edilip yapılan atıfların doğruluk derecesi kontrol edilmiştir. Tahkîk kısmında ise 205 varaktan oluşan eserin, kabul görmüş esaslar çerçevesinde tenkitli neşri yapılmıştır. In this study, we will tackle with authentication and analysis of the Ottoman scholar, Rizeli Hâfız Huseyn Efendi (d. 1237/1821)'s commentary on Imam Abu Al-Qasim al-Shatibi (d. 590/1194)'s poetic work of Ra'iyya. This commentary, which is written in the Ottoman Turkish and consists of 205 sheets, deals with the orthographic characteristics and explanation of the Quranic words as well as the collection and the duplication of the Quran. In the introduction and the analysis that has two parts, the focus is given to the subject matter, the significance, the objective, and the methodology of this research. The institutionalization, the genealogy, terminologies, and general principles of the Quranic Orthography are also examined in this section. Moreover, we provided detailed information about the author of Ra'iyye, Imam al-Shatibi, also the content, the characteristics, and the source of the book. Additionally, publications regarding Ra'iyye as well as critiques, footnotes, and commentaries on it are discussed in this research. Then, the political and educational contexts in which Rizeli lived in are briefly explored, and information concerning the name, the teknonym, the travels, the education, and the overall life of Rizeli also discussed. Another important issue regarding the analysis of this research is the examination of the content of Rizeli's work. In this section, the name of the book, its relationship to the author, the objective of writing the book, and the author's methodology are analyzed. In addition to the Quranic orthography, more emphasis is given on the scholarly significance of the Rizeli's commentary in terms of Qira'at (recitation of the Quran in various lexical forms), Arabic Philology, and scholastic theology. Also, some points that were open for critique are elaborated. Furthermore, bibliographic sources within the commentary are identified and their levels of authenticity are verified.
