Tez çalışmamız Arap şiir diline ilişkin problemler ile klasik ve modern eleştirmenlerin bu problemlere yaklaşımlarını ele almaktadır. Tezimiz eleştirmenlerin teorik düzeydeki görüşleri ile eleştiri uygulamalarını bir araya getirmeyi hedeflemiştir. Tezde görüşlerine yer verilen klasik eleştirmenlerin başında el-Câhız, İbn Tabâtabâ el-Alevî, Ebû Hilâl el-Askerî, Alî b. Abdilazîz el-Curcânî, Abdulkâhir el-Curcânî, Hâzım el-Kartâcennî gelmektedir. Modern eleştirmenlerden ise çoğunlukla İbrâhîm Abdulkâdir el-Mâzinî, Abbâs Mahmud el-Akkâd, Tâhâ Hüseyin, Mîhâîl Nuayme, Nâzik el-Melâike, İzzeddîn İsmâîl ve Ahmed Matlûb'un görüşlerine değinilmektedir. Tezin girişinde kadın, tabiat, tasavvuf, siyâsî hayat, felsefe gibi Arap şiir diline tesir eden etkenleri ele aldık. Ayrıca şairleri ve eleştirmenleri etkilemesinden dolayı bedî, klasizm, romantizm ve sembolizm gibi önde gelen edebiyat ekolleri hakkında bilgi verdik. Bu sayede şairlerin şiirlerini kaleme alırken kullandıkları dilin özellikliklerini ortaya çıkarmaya çalıştık. Çalışmamız, Arap şiir dilinin önde gelen şu problemlerini konu edinmiştir. Bunlar: Lafız ve Mana Problemi, Şiirsellik Problemi, Hayal Problemi, Kapalılık Problemi, Etkileme ve Etkilenme Problemidir. Klasik Arap eleştirmenler şiirle ilgili problemlere, şiir eleştirisinde geliştirdikleri üç teori ile yer verseler de isimlendirmeye yönelik bir adım atmamışlardır. Bu teorilerden birincisi Amûd'üş-Şi'r, ikincisi nazm ve üçüncüsü de hayal/tahyil teorisidir. Modern Arap eleştirmenler ise Batıdan şiirsellik kavramını almışlar ve bu kavramı nazm, şairiyye, inşâiyye gibi ıstılahlarla karşılamışlardır. Modern eleştirmenler klasik Arap eleştirmenlerinin uygulamalarıyla modern Batı eleştirisinin şiir teorilerini birleştirmeye çalışmıştır. Klasik ve modern eleştirmenler, şiirsel metinlerdeki orijinalliği tesbit edebilmek, etkileyen şair ile etkilenen şairi ayırt edebilmek için zengin ve geniş bir kültüre sahip olma ve çok şiir ezberlemenin gerekliliği noktasında görüş birliği içindedir ve bu konuda üzerlerine düşen görevin zorluğunun farkındadırlar. Klasik eleştirmenleri edebî çalıntı konusundaki görüşlerinde esnek ve geniş düşünmeye sevk eden etken belki de bu zorluktur. Yine bu zorluktan dolayı metinlerarasılık (tenâs) anlayışı modern eleştirmenleri edebî türlerin birbirinden etkilendikleri teorisine yöneltmiştir. This thesis deals with number of issues related to the language of Arabic poetry, explaining the attitude of the ancient Arab critics and the modern ones towards them, combining their views on theoretical and the practical levels represented in the critical practice. Among the most prominent ancient critics whom the thesis is based on are: Al-Jaheth, Ibn Tabatba Al-Alawi, Abu Hilal Al-Askari, Ali bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Jarjani, Abdul-Qaher Al-Jarjani, Hazem Al-Qaratajni and others. As for modern critics, we mentioned: Ibrahim Al-Mazni, Abbas Al-Akkâd, Taha Hussein, Michael Naim, Nazek Al-Malaika, Ezzedine Ismail, Ahmed wanted and others. Firstly, it was important to start with the influences on the language of Arabic poetry, such as: women, nature, sufism, political life, philosophy and the recipient, in addition to the major schools of Arabic literature such as: Budaiya School, Alitebaeiya School, Alebdaeyia School, and Arramziya School where they had an effect on poets and Arab critics. The thesis also revealed the aspects of the poets' careful handling of language as they are poetizing the masterpieces of their poems, by taking caution of several phenomena, such as: repetition, deletion, letting precede and putting back, dialogue, and simile. Secondly, the thesis led to the study of the following language issues of Arabic poetry: issue of words and meaning, issue of poeticism, issue of imagination, ambiguity and the issue of impressing and being impressed. It yielded to several results, including: it has been found in the issue of poeticism context that the ancient Arab critics have studied it applicably, but without launching its term, even though they have treated it seriously and in great effectiveness through three theories that they have resorted to, in the criticism of poetry. The first theory (Pillar of poetry), the second theory (Poetizing), and the third theory (Fantasy or Imagination). As for the Arab modern critics, they have quoted the term (poeticism) from the west, presenting Arabic terms in turn, such as: poetizing, poeticalness, compositionality ….. etc., and they have tried to match between applications of ancient Arab critics to theories of modern western criticism of poeticism. The ancient and modern Arab critics have agreed on the necessity of education, erudition and memorizing in order to study the originality of poetic texts and differentiate between the creative poet and the follower. They have acknowledged the difficulty of this task assigned to them. This is what led ancient critics to expand their outlook on plagiarism and that intertextuality led modern critics to look at the relationship of literary genres with each other.
