Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı alt ekstremite ödemi olan hastalarda sakroiliak eklem disfonksiyonu (SİED) ve postural bozuklukların belirlenmesi ve fonksiyonel ilişkisinin araştırılmasıdır. Metod: Altı aydan uzun süredir alt ekstremite ödemi olan 53 hasta ve 53 sağlıklı gönüllü çalışmaya alındı. Olguların sosyodemografik verileri, etkilenen ekstremite tarafı, ödem süresi, evresi ve lokalizasyonu, volüm farkı ve yüzdesi değerlendirme formuna kaydedildi. Sakroiliak eklem muayenesinde üç ve üzeri provokasyon test pozitifliği SİED açısından anlamlı kabul edildi. Olguların postür analizi PostureScreen Mobile 11.2 (PostureCo, Inc., Trinity, FL) uygulaması ile yapıldı. Yaşam kalitesi Lenfödem Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği (LYMQOL) ile değerlendirildi. Olguların fonksiyonel durumu Oswestry Engellilik İndeksi (ODİ) ve Alt Ekstremite Fonksiyonel Skalası (LEFS) ile belirlendi. Bulgular: Alt ekstremite ödemi olan hastalarda SİED'un daha fazla geliştiği (p=0,038) ve unilateral ödemi olanlarda karşı taraf sakroiliak eklemde ortaya çıktığı saptandı. Volüm farkı ve yüzdesi ile SİED gelişmesi arasında korelasyon vardı. (p<0,05). Ödem grubunda baş, omuz ve kalça angulasyonlarında sapma olduğu tespit edildi (p<0,05). SİED tanısı alan ödemli olgularda Q açısı ve lateral omuz angulasyonu anlamlı yüksek bulundu (p<0,05). Unilateral ve bilateral ödemi olanlarda postural parametrelerde farklılık saptanmadı (p>0,05). Ödemi olup SİED gelişen hastalarda yaşam kalitesinin etkilendiği görüldü. Bilateral ödemi olan olgularda fonksiyonel durum ve genel yaşam kalitesinin daha fazla etkilendiği saptandı (p<0,05). The aim of Study: The aim of this study to determine sacroiliac joint disfunction (SIJD) and postural deformities of patients with lower extremities edema and to conduct research on the functional relationship. Method: This study was conducted with 53 patient with lower extremities edema and 53 healthy person. Sociodemographic data of the participants, affected extremity side, duration, stage and localization of edema, volume difference and percentage were recorded in the evaluation form. At the sacroiliac joint examination, the positivity of 3 or more provocation tests was considered significant in terms of SIJD. Postural analysis of patients was determined with PostureScreen Mobile 11.2 (PostureCo, Inc., Trinity, FL) software. Quality of Life of participants was determined Lymphedema Quality of Life scale (LYMQOL). The functional status of the patients was determined by the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) and Lower Extremity Functional Scale (LEFS). Results: It was found that SIED developed more in patients with edema of the lower extremities than in the healthy group (p=0,038) and SIJD occur in contralateral sacroiliac joint on patients with unilateral lower extremities edema. There was correlation between volum differences, percentages and the development of SIJD (p<0,05). It was found that there were deviation in the head, shoulder and hip angulations in patients with edema group (p<0,05). The Q angle and lateral shoulder angulation were found to be significantly higher in patients with edema diagnosed with SIJD (p<0,05). There were no significant differences on postural parameters in patients with unilateral and bilateral edema (p>0,05). It was observed that the quality of life was affected of patients with edema diagnosed with SIJD. It was found that functional status and overall quality of life affected more in patients with bilateral edema (p<0,05). Conclusion: Lower extremity edema causes SIJD and postural disorders.
