Kentsel açık yeşil alanların birimlerinden birisi olan okul bahçeleri, çocukların hem eğitim aldıkları hem de serbest zamanlarında vakit geçirdikleri alanlar olduğu için kullanım yoğunluğu oldukça fazladır. Eğitimin sağlıklı bir şekilde devam edebilmesi için okul bahçeleri, dış mekanla okul arasında tampon görevi görmektedir. Bu çalışma, okul bahçelerinde meydana gelen iç ve dış kaynaklı gürültü kirliliğini Isparta kenti örneğinde ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaçla, Isparta kent merkezinde yer alan ve çevrelerinde farklı kullanımlar bulunan 4 ilkokul, 4 ortaokul ve 2 lise çalışma alanı olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada, öğrencilerin okul bahçesini en yoğun kullandıkları zaman aralıklarında gürültü ölçümleri yapılmıştır. Ölçümler için her okulda; teneffüs esnasında bahçe içinde, teneffüs esnasında bahçe dışında, ders esnasında bahçe dışında olmak üzere üç nokta belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar, söz konusu okullardaki gürültünün WHO tarafından belirlenen 55 dB(A) sınır değerini aştığını göstermektedir. Ölçülen değerlere ve hesaplanan ortalamalara bağlı olarak elde edilen Leq değerleri kullanılarak gürültü haritaları oluşturulmuştur. Ayrıca yapılan gürültü ölçümleri ve söz konusu değişkenler arasında anlamlı bir ilişkinin olup olmadığını ortaya koymak amacıyla, IBM SPSS 22.0 paket programı kullanılarak istatistiksel analiz yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda; genel ortalama gürültü ölçümüne göre, derste bahçe dışı gürültü düzeyi en yüksek olan okul grubunun liseler ve en düşük olan okul grubunun ise ilkokullar olduğu, okulların eğitim düzeylerine göre aylık genel ortalamada derste iv bahçe dışı gürültü ölçümleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte teneffüste bahçe dışı gürültü düzeyi en yüksek olan okul grubunun ilkokullar ve en düşük olan okul grubunun ise liseler olduğu, okulların eğitim düzeylerine göre aylık genel ortalamada teneffüste bahçe dışı gürültü ölçümleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunduğu ortaya konulmuştur. Ayrıca teneffüste bahçe içi gürültü düzeyi en yüksek olan okul grubu ilkokullar iken, en düşük olan okul grubu ise liseler olup, okulların eğitim düzeylerine göre aylık genel ortalamada teneffüste bahçe içi gürültü ölçümleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılığın bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmada elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda, okullarda eğitimin daha sağlıklı bir şekilde sürdürülebilmesi açısından, her okulun bahçesi için ayrı gürültü perdesi tasarımı konusunda öneriler sunulmuştur. School gardens, which are one of the units of urban open green spaces, are areas where children both receive education and spend time in their spare time, so their usage density is quite high. School gardens act as a buffer between the outdoors and the school so that education can continue in a healthy way. This study aims to reveal internal and external noise pollution occurring in school gardens in the example of Isparta city. For this purpose, 4 primary schools, 4 secondary schools and 2 high schools located in the city center of Isparta with different uses around them have been determined as study areas. Noise measurements were made at the time periods when the students used the school garden most. For the measurements, three points were determined in each school: inside the garden during break, outside the garden during break, and outside the garden during lessons. The results show that the noise in these schools exceeded the limit value of 55 dB (A) determined by the WHO. Noise maps were created using the Leq values obtained based on the measured values and calculated averages. In addition, statistical analysis was performed using IBM SPSS 22.0 package program in order to reveal whether there is a significant relationship between the noise measurements and the said variables. In the results of working; according to the general average noise measurement, it was determined that the school group with the highest the outside of garden noise level in the course was high schools, while the lowest school group was primary schools, and vi there was no statistically significant difference between the outside garden noise measurements in the lessons on the monthly general average according to the education levels of the schools. However, it has been revealed that the school group with the highest level of out of garden noise during breaks is primary schools, the lowest is high schools, and there is a statistically significant difference between out of garden noise measurements at monthly general average according to the education levels of the schools. In addition, while the school group with the highest level of in garden noise during breaks is primary schools, the school group with the lowest is high schools, and it has been determined that there is a statistically significant difference between the measurements of in-garden noise at the monthly general average according to the education levels of schools. In line with the findings of the study, suggestions were made on the design of separate noise barriers for each school's garden in order to maintain a healthier education in schools.
