Kentsel ve kırsal peyzajlar üzerinde giderek artan doğal ve kültürel kaynaklı baskıların etkileri, ekosistemlerin değişime uğramasına ve bozulmasına yol açmaktadır. Bu etkilerin önüne geçmek için sürdürülebilir ekolojik yaklaşımların gelecek için benimsenmesi gerekmektedir. Bu bağlamda düşünüldüğünde, özellikle korunması gereken hassas ekosistemlerde bütüncül ekolojik yönetim süreçleri uygulamaları gerekmektedir. Bu süreçlerin ilk adımı, bu tarz alanların bozulmalarına neden olan unsurların belirlenerek gerekli önlemlerin alınmasıdır. Bu tez çalışmasında; ülkemiz ve dünya açısından önemli bir yere sahip olan, Özel Çevre Koruma Bölgesi statüsünde bulunan ve Türkiye'nin Maldivleri olarak nitelendirilen Salda Gölü Havzası için ekolojik risk değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Yapılan analizler çerçevesinde erozyon, kuraklık ve deprem analizleri farklı yöntemlerle ele alınmış, kültürel riskler ise kendi içerisinde bütünleşik olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Revize Edilmiş Evrensel Toprak Kaybı (RUSLE) yöntemi kullanılarak yapılan erozyon analizi sonucunda elde edilen risk haritasına göre, havza genelindeki (%92,15) erozyon riskinin "çok düşük şiddetli" olduğu saptanmıştır. Standartlaştırılmış Yağış İndeksi (SYİ) yöntemiyle yapılan kuraklık analizi sonucunda havzada en fazla kuraklık durumunun "normal ve normale yakın kuraklık" olduğu ve bu kuraklık durumunun her zaman var olabileceği tespit edilmiştir. b (sismoteknik) ve Z (sismik durgunluk) bölgesel değişimleri hesaplanarak yapılan deprem analizi sonucunda elde edilen haritalara ve grafiklere göre, havzanın "orta vadede" deprem riski taşıdığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Kültürel risklerin analizi aşamasında, risk düzeyleri, AHS ağırlıkları ve ağırlıklı risk düzeyleri hesaplaması ile elde edilen ağırlıklı risk puanları sonucuna göre, 9 farklı kültürel risk içerisinde en yüksek puanı "insan yoğunluğu ve rekreasyonel faaliyetler" (34 puan) almıştır. Salda Gölü Havzası'nda yapılan ekolojik risk değerlendirmesi sonucunda, alandaki doğal ve kültürel kaynaklı ekolojik risklerin etkilerinin en aza indirilmesini sağlamak için çeşitli önlem hedefleri ve stratejiler belirlenmiş, ekolojik planlama kapsamında koruma-kullanma dengesini de ön planda tutan öneriler sunulmuştur. Bu çalışmanın, Salda Gölü Havzası'nın gelecekteki yönetim süreçlerinde alınacak kararlara katkı sağlaması ve paydaşlar tarafından daha fazla sürdürülebilir yaklaşımların benimsenmesine yardımcı olması beklenmektedir. Ayrıca bu çalışma, ulusal boyutta korunması şart olan ve çevresindeki baskılardan dolayı acil risk önlemleri alınması gereken diğer sulak alanlarda yapılması planlanan ekolojik temelli çalışmalara da analiz, yönetimsel süreçler ve planlama açısından katkı sağlayacaktır. The growing effects of natural and cultural pressures on urban and rural landscapes, cause changes and degradation of ecosystems. In order to prevent these effects, sustainable ecological approaches should be adopted for the future. When considered in this context, holistic ecological management processes are required, especially in sensitive ecosystems that need to be protected. The first step of these processes is to determine the factors that cause the deterioration of such areas and to take necessary precautions. In this thesis study; Ecological risk assessment has been made for the Salda Lake Basin, which has an important place in terms of our country and the world, has the status of a Special Environmental Protection Area and is described as Turkey's Maldives. Within the framework of the analyzes made; erosion, drought and earthquake analyzes were handled with different methods, and cultural risks were evaluated in an integrated manner in itself. According to the risk map obtained as a result of the erosion analysis made using the Revised Universal Soil Loss (RUSLE) method, the erosion risk across the basin was determined to be "very low" (92.15 %). As a result of the drought analysis made with the Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) method, it has been determined that the most drought situation in the basin is "normal and near-normal drought" and this drought situation can always exist. According to the maps and graphics obtained as a result of the earthquake analysis made by calculating the b (seismotechnical) and Z (seismic stagnation) regional changes, it has been concluded that the basin carries an earthquake risk in the "medium term". During the analysis of cultural risks, according to the result of weighted risk scores obtained by calculating risk levels, AHP weights and weighted risk levels, "human density and recreational activities" got the highest score among 9 different cultural risks (34 points). As a result of the ecological risk assessment carried out in the Salda Lake Basin, various precautionary targets and strategies were determined in order to minimize the effects of natural and cultural ecological risks in the area, and suggestions were presented that prioritize the protection-use balance within the scope of ecological planning. It is expected that this study will contribute to the decisions to be taken in the future management processes of the Salda Lake Basin and help the adoption of more sustainable approaches by the stakeholders. İn addition, this study will contribute to the ecological-based studies planned to be carried out in other wetlands, which must be protected at the national level and where urgent risk measures should be taken due to the surrounding pressures in terms of analysis, managerial processes and planning.
